The Dopefiend kicks off this year's Big Chill madness at the DopeTent, chatting to Dopecast regular G13 about the coming weekend and last night's zombie-themed evening, why it was a slight let down, and how the weekend is set to proceed, before G13 takes his first ever DMT trip courtesy of Dopefiend.co.uk entheo-pundit Max Freakout. The Dopefiend then checks in with Son of Gonzo, Happydaze and Pothead about their Big Chill plans before getting the lowdown from G13 about his DMT experience. The next day, after another night of truffle and nitrous oxide-based insanity, the Dopefiend joins Happydaze lakeside in the sunshine to get a review of some amazing 5-year old ecstasy pills encountered by the DopeTribe the night before, how they enhanced the Basement Jaxx performance, and the Dopefiend's strangely mild truffle trip, and also talks to Jay K and Flick about the disturbing Chris Cunningham video set which brought on some shroom-based discomfort in all concerned, and how their evening progressed from there, as well as their plans to try "legal high" methedrone. The Dopefiend and Son of Gonzo then try to work out how little sleep he's had so far over the weekend, what his plans are for the coming evening, and how he saw Top Cat in the sky. Next the Dopefiend catches up with Max Freakout, who's feeding the Big Chill ducks, and talking about MDMA, Salvia, shrooms and Nitrous. Slightly later on, following a musical interlude showcasing Son of Gonzo's Big Chill anthem I and I Batman, the Dopefiend and tribe return to the DopeTent to reunite with Squidgy Sid who's still feeling the pain after his appalling whitey experience at DopeStock, and to chat with show sponsor Pothead, G13 talks about the famous buried 5 year-old ecstasy pills, and his Saturday night plans, and Squidgy Sid talks about his decision to splinter off from the DopeTent this year and set up his own rival camp, about the copious amounts of Nitrous flying around among the DopeTribe, and which strains of gourmet ganja the tribe have been packing their iolites, spliffs and pipes with so far. Next up, brace your ears for some extreme bass as the Dopefiend hits Saturday night with a head full of MDMA and has a chat with Dopecast listener Jamin about his Big Chill experience outside the Rizla Arena following the Lamb set, then Son of Gonzo joins the pair, just as tons of chinese lanterns are released into the sky above Eastnor, then Son of Gonzo commandeers the mic as the Dopefiend takes his first live pill on the Dopecast. Desperately fighting against the bass, the Dopefiend talks to long term friend Limbo about his first experience of a DopeTribe gathering, from the middle of the crowd outside the Open Air Stage as Orbital limber up for their set, the Dopefiend hits the Sage N Sour while chatting to Limbo and G13, and shortly after the incredible Orbital set, the Dopefiend chats to some new found friends as well as Jay K, Flick and G13 about how everyone's evening's going so far, then fills some balloons with Nitrous Oxide while the gathering tribe chat amongst themselves, then following an immense MDMA Nitrous blast, the Dopefiend quickly mentions the controversy surrounding last year's Big Chill podcast, before the DopeTribe hit the Dance Tent to rave away the early hours. At 3am on Sunday Morning the music finishes at the dance tent, prompting the DopeTribe to try and figure out what to do next, while the Dopefiend chats to Squidgy Sid, Jay K, Flick, G13 and Limbo about their night. As the DopeTribe return to the DopeTent as the sky lightens, the Dopefiend gets final thoughts from G13 and Squidgy Sid, and they all reflect on the night's entertainment while vaping some Blue Cheese. Finally, the following night, just about recovered from an intense saturday, the DopeTribe reconvene at the "Big Burn" of a massive wooden Zombie effigy, and the Dopefiend wraps up another absurd podcast live from the amazingly beautiful Big Chill.

Next, the Dopefiend turns to Esse B who gives an update on his battle with the rare condition Cannabinoid Hyperemesis, then the Dopefiend reads an email from Dr Barton outlining his theories on the possible causes of the condition. Next, Herodian packs one of the iolites flying around the cave with some LowRyder for a tasting session and a chat about the recent developments in auto-flowering plants and whether they're the answer for lazy growers or those with no space and no expertise, or whether growers are better off tailoring gourmet strains to suit their environment.
