Did you know that cocaine is a protoplasmic poison, like snake venom? It's true. Protoplasm is part of every living cell. Taking a venom-like poison just can't be a good thing. I admit that I have done it before myself but after reading about that I have no further interest. I know people say drugs are poison but in this case it literally is a poison. That's probably why it's in the plant, to kill bugs or something. Why pay good money to poison yourself?

I've read that chewing Coca leaves by natives has negative health effects on them over the years, and that's just a low concentration. Repeatedly taking poison must be hard on the system. I found cocaine use to be very much like being sick. You can't eat, you're thirsty etc. There's euphoria for a short time but the main effects for me were the poisoning effects and they lasted a lot longer. Maybe others find it works for them.
