Kind of embarrasing putting your foot in your mouth. Is it now??? "ignore is all thats good for back stabbers" - CD420 Your reply here is sure some dedication to ignorance, LOL! Since that thread is just an all-around reflection of character, I made a point of posting the shout box beef from today at the bottom To clarify, I'm not justifying any "nasty" behavior - just denying what you're upset about is all that nasty. Mostly pointing-out you were going off on stuff I never even said. I don't need to make any excuse for the shit I talked. I AM sarcastic, that IS in my character as that's about ALL that thread proves about my fat ass. I'm guessing the part that's so touchy for you is that people (not just me mind you) called you out on your childishness. Whenever the online bickering gets too much for you, or things just don't go your way for whatever reason, no matter how insignificant, you go storming off in a huff. I for one was wary from all the countless other times you "promised" to leave (the thread, the shout or the site altogether), and was amused by the way you chose to bail. My comment speaks to that. So, if you were offended by my smart-ass comment inferring you were being dramatic and silly - I hit the mark as intended. That is INDEED the message I intended.

Answering Ted's questions

Ted asked me some questions in another thread and then that thread was locked ... so here are the answers:
"Did you fight Prop 215 when it came in DML?"
I promoted it in my magazine - Potshot #12
"It was not perfect but things have progressed quite far since it passed."
It was a step in the right direction for sure.
"Forgive me if I have not had time to look further into the matter."
You make some strong accusations for someone who hasn't had time to do the research. But that's par for your course.
"I have 3,300 sick people, and more coming every day, in my care, plus a host of other projects. I am only one person and I spend every day working between 2 and 15 hours to end prohibition."
Perhaps you should have someone you trust look into it for you.
"You have confirmed that there are no good Stop S-10 handouts currently available at the vapour lounge or store,"
When did I do that?
"...but then you question where my knowledge comes from. I was right, so it does not matter the source of my information but it was someone you know very well."
You're wrong. There are S-10 posters and pamphlets ... there are more on the way.
"Anyone vocally taking sides on Prop 19 who does not live in California is joining the prohibitionist camp."
We're in the "this monopoly is worse than 215 and Cali-style decrim" camp. That's different from the "prohibitionist camp". You're allowed to have more than two camps, Ted.
"You might find it hard to sleep at night when you think about it DML, but you are working against the cannabis movement and appear to be a traitor to many more people than just myself."
Wouldn't be the first time you called me a "backstabber to the movement" and it wouldn't be the first time you were wrong about that either.
"Legalizing cannabis in California will be a watershed moment for the world. Many, many countries will immediately begin drafting better laws than Prop 19 as soon as it is passed."
Really? Why not suspect the same thing to happen when 215 happened - people copy the Cali model outright or they make it even more restrictive?
"Cannabis legalization will be the next global goldrush. If it fails that reality will be put back decades."
It will be a corporate goldrush if the Cali plan gets locked in.
"Ironically if Canadian cannabis activists spend their time focused upon the details of Prop 19, S-10 will easily get passed by the Conservatives. Luckily DML seems to be one of the few Canadian activists fighting legalization in other countries."
I can multi-task.
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
-Martin Luther King Jr., Letter from Birmingham Jail, April 16, 1963
"By the way, the Cannabis Buyers Clubs of Canada is the oldest and first public medical cannabis dispensary in Canada, despite whatever you say."
You're a lying sack of bat guano, Ted.
An article from the Vancouver Province - Reprinted in Potshot #11, page 2: "Pot-for-pain plea heard" Oct. 4 1995 - where Marc Emery admits to Hemp BC (no doubt Hil) supplying med pot to sick people. That confirms my recollections and Hil's, which was Hil had her pamphlets up and running by Nov. of 1995.
This would put Hil's club WAY ahead of anyone else's in Canada for the modern "post hemp" era. Period. End of story. Done deal.
In the same issue of Potshot (dated "Spring 1996") I have a copy of the pamphlet for the Vancouver Medical Marijuana Cooperative (page 10 and 11) - Hil had gone to California by then and Theo was the only person with his name on it.
"I have proved it with documents..."
What documents?
"...but you stick to your lies like flies on shit."
I'm the only person in this argument who has submitted any proof, Ted.
"And some kind of open-source cannabis patent might still stop drug companies from making patents on certain kinds of medicine, but I have not had the chance to fully explore that idea. So many things to do, never enough time."
So unable to do any research, you are of course unable to find any other examples of "open source" biological patents.
And those of us who do do the research, who have come across legal precedents for excluding all "discoveries" and limiting patent law to "inventions" only are being ignored ... why?
"So go ahead and lie some more DML. Twist those words around. That is what you do best. But I do like the Sith Lord comment. I think it has gone to my head already. Like, do you really think I could be second-in-command? That would rank me higher than you! No wonder you are so jealous of my power."
You are of course of a higher rank ... in the Evil Empire. Why anyone would want to be a Sith in the first place is beyond me.
I'm an anarchist ... I don't give orders ... hierarchy is sort of sad and pitiful - not attractive in the slightest.

"But DML, you were the one that promoted me to Syth Lord!" You fooled me with your brown light-saber ... I thought someone gave you a red one. "That is why you are promoting anarchy as order..." Anarchy IS order ... you should see how orderly Christiania is: http://www.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=...629&bih=901"Take a look at who is fighting Prop 19." Pot Activists: Dennis Peron - the guy who built the med pot bandwagon you're currently riding Paul Krassner - Yippie, High Times writer Mike Boutin - Grace Collective Attorneys: Tony Serra Jennifer Soares Rick Horowitz Omar Figueroa William Panzer All of these people fear what Prop 19 will do to young people, people with children and the ma and pa growers and dealers. "It is the same military complex you love to complain about." The "no" side from the Military Complex is muted ... the only action the police have taken recently is busting Dennis on bullshit charges that were dropped the same day. "How did they get to you DML? Did they try to kill you, like they did Denis Peron?" They tried to kill Dennis BECAUSE he is a vocal opponent of Prop 19. If they "scared him into being a no" they would have attacked him while he was a yes and turned him into a no - that never happened. What part of "guaranteed pot-war budget for the police during the greatest recession since the great depression" do you not understand? "Maybe I should watch out before they come for me?" They won't come for any of their tools.

Prop 19 is not legalization.
Re-legalization, that is, a return to the state of things before the war began, means minors can buy drugs. Minors can go to school stoned as fuck, and if they can do the work, that's fine. And if they can't, fuck 'em. That's called freedom.
No, the war, even if it ends now, for the adults, with a "truce" for them, the ongoing war on children and their freedom of diet continues apace.
But as happened with the Homosexual Rights movement, children and those who support their equality get turfed out by the "mature, responsible adults" who realize how nonsensical it would be to treat children like anything but talking luggage. Who would ever ask a suitcase to decide what's put in it? And there you have the adult attitude towards children.
