Sweet! I think if someone gets caught tagging, they should be judged by a jury on their artistic talent and their verdict for sucking is removal of their thumbs. No, I was just comparing a completely different situation in the same context as the quick to label thing to prove a mild point. I think that people who exhibit the kind of serial killer traits you talk of actually do it all the time and start at a young age. Kind of like the creepy kid in my sixth grade math class that always pet his shoulder. I think he killed someone and wore their skin...he loved cats though. Maybe we should be weary of obsessive animal lovers too Quick to label?? The facts that are presented are not my own "quick label" but the results of studies & research done by well qualified experts in this field. well it looks like we've gone full circle on this one then. Hmmmmm...looks familiar.....Where Have I seen that before? "I understand that people that find & practice different ways of animal cruelty at a young age, often fit the profile of a very sick person such as Dahmer & Gacy. Is my point too harsh? Thats some evil shit if you ask me." I guess my point is too harsh. Sorry. & yes, maybe we should be weary of obsessive animal lovers too. because, cat is yummy.

Cats dont know that they get high. They aren't aren't sophisticated enough to understand the concept of getting high.
When we smoke, we know that we are going to get high. We are smoking to get high or to medicate or whatever, thats why we do it. A cat on the other hand has no idea why you are blowing smoke on it, and will respond differently EACH time you blow smoke on it.
If the cat is in a relaxed and good mood, napping or sprawling out on your couch, then the chances that it will budge and run away when you blow a fat rip onto its face are relatively small. This is because cats are naturally lazy creatures that prefer to take the path of least resistance whenever they can afford to do so. A trusting cat will not be scared of its human slave blowing smoke into its face, though it may be stunned at first and surprised by the smell. The cat is likely to continue sleeping and yes, reposition itself into various "comfortable" positions. The cannabis will have an effect on the cat, however the cat will be fully unaware that it is high.
If the cat is alert and active, sitting somewhere or patrolling its territory, chances are it will move along if you bother it with some smoke, because in this case it is simply more convenient to do so, it doesn't have to wake up.
And naturally, if you're a fucking douche bag, and chase your cat all over the house to blow rips on it, it will not be to happy...
Please though, keep in mind that CATS DO NOT KNOW THAT THEY ARE GETTING HIGH. "High" cats follow the exact same pattern of behavior as clean cats. They will jump, balance on ledges, traverse high spaces, climb, and do all the other crazy and dangerous activities which cats normally engage in - ALL WITHOUT KNOWING THAT THEIR JUDGMENT AND PERFORMANCE ABILITY ARE IMPAIRED.
Example: There have been many cases of cats that were exposed to too much cannabis failing to make a jump or falling while climbing and injuring themselves. Such an experience can have serious psychological impacts on a cat. Cats may be traumatized afterwards, and refrain from climbing and jumping, tasks which are paramount to a cats well being.
So please, be careful before you get what may end up being the best friend you ever had so high that he hurts him/herself.
Amen
