Had an awesome time at the amazing Treating Yourself Expo in Toronto last weekend. A huge thanks to Kelly Coulter and Norml, to Micheal and Denise from the Canadian Cannabis Learning center for helping us get there, to Chris Goodwin and the Vapor lounge for providing shelter for Jack and I, and also to Rebecca and the Vancouver seed bank for technical support. The Expo was an extremely well done exercise in bringing cannabis consumers into the mainstream of society as well as a great way of bringing together the many factions involved in the cannabis re-legalization movement. Although hampered by the limitations of time and the constant need to recharge batteries for the cameras, we were able to do many quality interviews. If time had allowed we would have done many more, sorry to those we missed this time, hopefully we can get to you during our upcoming coast to coast journey this summer. www.stilltrippinmovie.com------------------------------------------------------- Michelle, I'm sure, is happy to see the unity in the community

Please send your comments to Health Canada about their upcoming move to further restrict people using medical cannabis. http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/consultation/marihuana/_2011/www.hc-sc.gc.caMy comments posted at their site; You are paid out of the public purse and are public servants, as such it is not in your purview to participate in prohibiting FREE adults from growing or using nature in ANY way except when they are causing harm to others. In fact it is widely known and accepted by a large range of professionals, that it is not the plant but the attempted prohibition of cannabis that is responsible for most of the harms associated with it's use. Substances that have the potential for harm from overdose, addiction or abuse (like tobacco, alcohol, pesticides and others) require regulation of COMMERCIAL sale and production but due to the rights and freedoms of adults to do as they choose UNLESS THEY HARM OTHERS, they also require using the least intrusive ways possible (usually education is enough) to address the concerns Bering in mind that when the regulations, restrictions or taxes reach a point where the black market becomes a viable choice then THEY MUST BE SCALED BACK. which is why prohibition doesn't and can't work. It is our right to use nature and do as we choose unless we are harming others under NATURAL law and GODS laws (which supersedes any man made laws). Which is why the mmar and its predecessors have been and will continue to be found in contempt of Canadians and the charter. Only the commercial sale and production of goods falls within the scope of government regulations and only when warranted, NOT personal use or production. As SERVANTS of the public sworn and bound to protect and uphold the public's rights and freedoms , you must cease infringing on these rights and halt participating in the criminal, immoral, harmful and counterproductive laws against personal use and production of cannabis.
