So a friend of mine and I are trying to figure out if cats can get high. In other words I'm wondering if I'm wasting herb blowing my cat shotguns. I've heard that they dont have cannibinoid receptors. Anyone know? thanks

Forcing an animal to breathe cannabis smoke is immature and cruel.

Virtually every living animal has cannabinoid receptors. Your cat certainly does.

I can't advocate for forcing your pets to get high.

But many cats and dogs enjoy marijuana smoke. If your pets come to you while you are toking, they probably enjoy it.

I wouldn't blow it right in their faces. Their sense of smell is way stronger, and their tiny body weight means they need only a fraction of the smoke that you do.

Cannabis can be a good medicine for pets as well as for humans.

My cat headbutts me when I get high, until I blow a rip (usually 2 and hé leaves on his own) at him.
He also ran away one day, after I shoo'd him out of the room while I was getting ripped... didn't come home for 3 days.

Dog also prefers the pot, and gets jealous when the cat gets some and not him. Friggen moochers....

My rat doesn't like the smoke, but he'll fight me for the baggie. He usually gets it when it's empty.

My cat got high with me 9 times.
after the 10th sesh, He just up & died. I dont understand???
Oh well, back to petsmart for another smoke buddy.

My dog is a heavyweight, he sat in my room as it got hotboxed. After 15 mins he proceeded to take advantage of the fact that I was baked, and stole my socks. Tricky bastard.

hahaha these are all very funny post. my cat comes up to me to and sits on my lap....catches a contact and then passes out in some of the most comfortable positions. i can smell it...can i inhale it??
