for the past month i have been fixing up this old shed on my property. it had no floor and the original retaining wall that was supporting the foundation has been slowly falling down the hill. it was built out of redwood and the dumbass who built it just wrapped black plastic around the boards to stop them from rotting. well, they were rotted to shit. so i threw up a new wall (pressure treated of course), and i floored the whole thing. i couldnt do much about the slant from the shed, so i just kept everything level on the inside. it also keeps the look of a broken down shed on the outside as to not draw attention to the new construction going on inside. here are some pics of the process.

i threw up a wall and left a dead room in the far corner of the shed to exhaust into. i decided to throw a window seat in the wall to keep filters and other stuff up off the the floor and out of the room while still allowing me to get to it for maintenance.

dead room and new wall.

_

only thing left is insulation and plywood for the walls, but that can be done in time. i really need to get this shit up and running.

i am gonna bring in a sub panel and hook it up to a 100amp breaker. that way i have plenty of amps to go around.
the trench is dug and its time to run the conduit and the 4 gauge wire.

got the sub panel up and we are ready to wire this fucker. my home boy hooked me up with a Master Lighting Controller so that way i can keep all my ballasts in one spot and wont have to purchase a timer, i will just use my digital timer and hook it up to the relay on the controller. now i will be able to use my 120v timer for the 240v controller without having to buy more breakers. i will have the controller on a 40amp breaker, giving me more than i need incase i want to add more lights (eventually will have 6 1000w).

sub panel ready to wire up, and master controller.

_

all wired up and ready to start setting this room up. the only thing left to do is wire the main 100amp breaker.

_

_

i have a switch to control the outlet so that way i can use it for green light, pumps, and anything else that i dont want to have to plug and unplug.

_

time to take a much needed BOOM DRAW from this bowl.

so thats about where i am at right now. i will continue to update until this bitch is up and running. i love this custom grow room shit. let me know what yall think.

its not really hidden so to say, but it is down the hill from my other grow shed. on the plus side its located under the redwoods and doesnt get blasted by the sun (although in summer time it can still get hot under the trees).

i will be connecting the main later today. i ended up short on the wire so i have to make a BIG ass junction and tie it in. 4 gauge is some big shit. i had to go out and get more wire, splicers and heat shrink tubing. they dont make wire nuts for #4.
