I have used top quality Female seeds from top seed banks for YEARS and never had a problem finding a High Quality Mother plant to clone. I think the Seed Companies and Breeders are doing the average grower a great service!! Just think of all the wonderful strains that have been developed by them,why would they develope these strains just to have someone else capitalize on their time and labor. I don't see EARL advertizing seeds to give away! If you know what your doing your plants will never suffer that much stress. Only a rookie grower or an Idiot would let their plants get in such a condition.

You are being a Rude Dude man,the man gave his opinion he did not insult YOU. If we ever want to get pot legalized we have to start by getting along amongst pot smokers,when we start calling others names and insulting them personally how can the rest of the world take us serious? Remember people from all walks of life smoke pot, so why alienate them?

Well if you are talking about stressing plants, then I'm guilty! I'm not a rookie grower, some times idiotic but not where growing is concerned. Nothing is more stressful to a plant than reveging the plant. I reveg a number of plants every year on purpose for my own reasons. I have yet to have a plant I've reveged hermie on me. I'm not saying it can't happen, Just hasn't happened yet. Some strains are stronger than others. Usually a feminized seed has week genetics in it's origins. Severe stress can cause that kind of plant to hermie. I also know what to look for and once the plant has reveged and is back into full on veg growth I make sure she is taken care of so she won't hermie later on... I hope this makes sence.... Just my thoughts on the subject.....

Too many growers are pretending to be experts,I have more than a few decades at it and still have a lot to learn. The Breeders and producers put a lot of time and Money into creating these wonderful strains that we enjoy today. If you buy from the best Breeders(cup winners)you will get High quality seeds with no males or herms(besides all growers should check constantly for male sacs on their plants no matter what!). The New breeders of today have surpassed us oldtimers and I am glad they have,and they deserve to be paid for it. Peace and love.

Both GreenHouse Seeds and Barney's Farm (both "Cup" winners) have issues with hermies in their femmed seed strains. And most knowledgeable growers know that the Cannabis Cup has been rigged for years. Here's the post from someone who worked with both GHS and Barney's:

By all means buy a judges pass, get the freebies, buy the cut price deals, and enjoy Amsterdam's glory. Get your money's worth, but do not be fooled as to think that your vote counts.

DO NOT grow feminized outdoors!

Care to elaborate? Don't worry, I'll give my experience...

I grew an entire 18 plant outdoor garden completely from Paradise Seeds lineup of feminized seeds. The strains were Sensi Star and Jacky White. Every single seed I germinated popped and grew beautiful female plants. Some plants showed slight phenotype variances, others were heavier... ALL were healthy and productive sinsemilla plants. My crop did NOT get seeded and I had nothing bad at all to report about these strains in feminized form.
I ended up taking clones from the healthiest and most productive plants. With those clones I made mothers and distributed clones by the batch to other medical patients. Not ONE had any hermaphrodite problems! I mothered those plants for close to 2 years with hundreds of cuttings taken off of them.

Believe me when I say, with good breeding tactics and stable varieties there is nothing to fear from feminized seeds...Granted they are done right to begin with.

I have grown out many crops before and after this with feminized seeds from numerous different breeders and have never, yes I said NEVER, had a hermaphrodite in my garden.

I swear by them now and had little issues, not enough to worry about.

No one hear has mentioned the fact that enviormental factors are different for everyone and everyone grows differently.

Yes you will run into herms from femmed beans from time to time but the same applies to the natural selection seeds as well.
