Looks great. Can I come over and just sleep under that canopy? Does the fishing line ever cut into the stems? I guess it's the WW that makes it look like it's snowing in there.

HA you would have to move my cats cause they love to lay under there.

As for the fishing line, no it doesnt cut into anything. Maybe braid but not mono. Plus it is really just strung up in a net shape. Then i use bag ties to hold things to the string. I like to use it cause its like 3 dollars for 1000 yards or so at wally world.

Couple harvest pics to come.

Here is some bubble hash i made up. This was made mostly from the lowest part of the plants.

Sure smells nice and has an almost instant uplifting high.

Very nice grow! Quick question, what did you use to keep the plants secure and upright especially when they got tall like that? I am a soil grower but want to progress to hydro and need all the help I can get. Thanks!

A whole bunch of fishing string. Its thin so it wont block light and it strong enough to hold any bud. I just start with a couple anchor lines into the wall then just run with it. Eventually forming sort of a grid pattern. I will usually go in around the second week of flowering and start to do this.

If you decide to switch over to hydro you dont need to let your plants get all that tall. Growing them to the same hight as your soil grows would work just as well. You know i bet you would enjoy switching over to hydroponics.

So now that the plants have grown out and been chopped down lets have a look at the roots in the trays. They end up kinda like a mat in an nft system. However having the trays filled with hydroton allows me to do timed waterings instead of it running constant. Personally i think it works out pretty good. I will put up some more from the harvest next.

Root mat. Its heavy and a pain to clean all the rocks out of....

You should post that root porn picture in the Show Your Roots thread.

C'mon Dro, Just toss the whole bunch of clay and buy another couple boxes. This is a big crop and you might have a spare dollar to cut a couple of corners.

Hell I'll buy you the clay pellets for a trade, what do say to that?
