New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's extra special episode of the Dopecast live from last weekend's UK Hemp Expo in London, the Dopefiend enjoys a rare opportunity to experience total Cannabis freedom in the center of London and samples the delights of the UK Hemp Expo, joined by such DopeTribe regulars as Jay K, Floydhead, Max Freakout, to talk about a wide range of subjects including the Hemp Expo itself, the revolutionary I-Inhale and how it's changing the Cannabis Community, how a major psychedelic experience can hamper one's ability to enjoy the pleasure of Cannabis, the benefits and limitations of auto-flowering strains such as Lowryder, whether or not Cannabis could provide a much needed boost to the global economy if legalized, and whether governments would ever recognize that possibility, the increasing clampdown on the Cannabis scene in Amsterdam and whether it'll ever conquer the public desire for legal ganja, and the coming ban on magic mushrooms in Amsterdam and how headshops will respond to it. Noext, the Dopefiend heads over the the I-Inhale stand for a chat with Peter, the man behind it's creation and development about how it came to be and its success since its release, then forum member and grower slowme rocks up with his brand new i-inhale and some of his own home grown jack herer to talk about what led him to become a grower, then London based stoner esse b drops in for a chat about his weekend at the Expo. Following a musical interlude, Herodian and Hash Whisperer swing by the DopeTribe corner for a taste of some G-Bomb vapour and a chat about the way different temperatures of vaporization can affect the type of high you get from your favourite strain. Next the Dopefiend heads over to the Seedsman stand for a chat with Dopecast regular Tom from Seedsman for a chat about the seed industry in the UK in general and whether there are moves afoot to restrict seed sale, whether the increasing legitimization of the medical marijuana scene in the United States at the state level is having an impact on the seed business. Next, the Dopefiend chats to this week's sponsor JonnyB, Hash Whisperer, and Dopecast regular Floydhead about their experience of the UK Hemp Expo and the likelihood of a seed sale ban arriving on British shores, as well as the approaching Dutch ban on mushrooms, then he has a chat with cartoonist and former Disney animator Jason Wilson, the creator of the comic serial Smuggling Vacation before closing the day's festivities by chatting to Dopefiend Network Podcasters Max Freakout and Pothead, who's laden with shopping bags full of goodies, and forum regular MycoPhile about their enjoyment of the UK Hemp Expo, before heading home after a long and very stoned weekend! New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about the British Government's decision to ignore the advice of its most esteemed scientists and experts and push through their headline-grabbing reclassification of Cannabis as a Class B drug, paying special attention to the response of one of the leading opposing voices, that of Liberal Democrat MP Dr Evan Harris who gathered together an impressive roster of signatories to a letter in a failed last-ditch attempt to halt the U-turn, and one of the loudest, if least informed voices supporting it, that of Dopecast favourite Debra Bell of Talking About Cannabis. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend answers a common question about how best to embark upon psychedelic adventuring for the first time, and talks about the dangers of low blood sugar coupled with cannabis use, the far greater dangers of driving under its influence, then answers some questions relating to the incredible I-Inhale portable vaporizer before going for a stroll with his very own I-Inhale in order to test out its suitability for vaporizing hash, meanwhile reminding listeners of the opportunity to submit their own audio for our Christmas specials. After a musical interlude created by Wegface, the Dopefiend returns to talk further about whether the fears about using silicone tubing with direct-draw vaporizers is justified, then there's some talk about the anti-bacterial properties of Cannabis, Chuck Reno drops a voicemail about smoking blunts, there's more about the value of the sticky residue left on some vaporizers, then, in the Cannabis News, further evidence that Canada's liberal attitudes towards cannabis are under threat as the Kindred Cafe is the latest to be hit in a series of raids, why cannabis is good for your brain, and how it's been found to block certain types of pain, the British MP determined to toughen up laws surrounding paraphernalia and seed sale here in the UK, why 43 Amsterdam coffeeshops are to close, the 79-year-old tomato grower harrassed and intimidated by over-zealous police who thought she was operating a cannabis factory, and the results are in from this year's Cannabis Cup! New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, an under-the-weather Dopefiend talks about the US Supreme Court's decision to uphold last year's ruling that the local police in California and other medical marijuana states are not obliged to help fight the DEA's war on Cannabis, and why it's one step close to a congruent and pragmatic federal approach to medical marijuana, especially with some law enforcement officers advocating full legalization as a remedy for the global financial crisis. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend reads a message from show sponsor G13 about his embracement of the Vaporizer Revolution, stealthgrow sets us straight about the safety and speed of hash oil extraction using butane, John emails about the truth behind the War on Drugs and tells an extraordinary story about his own suffering at the hands of the outdated drug laws, then Truthmissile alerts us to the work of Professor Juan Cole who exposes how how fixed sentences for cannabis posession have directly contributed to America's financial problems, C-Dub informs us about his endeavours to educate the masses about cannabis, and Brad tells of his dealers who tried to supplement their income by robbing a bank, and long time listener to the Dopecast Gouranga Jimmy drops by to tell us about his podcast before the Dopefiend fires up his I-Inhale and reclines on the Big Green Couch for a bit of herbal respite and a chat about the cold-curing properties of cannabis and how the I-Inhale is going to change the traditional Christmas Day reefer break for a lot of stoners, leading to the story of how its potent vapour led to more than he bargained for at the UK Hemp Expo. Following a musical interlude by the Sloppy Jacksons, the Dopefiend further extends the deadline for DopeTribe Dispatches in an effort to get more of your 10-minute audio nuggets in time for Christmas, then reads an email from the Spanish American about his enjoyment of home growing over in Spain and how the relaxed attitude to cannabis over there contrasts with the laws of the USA, taking us through the success of his recent harvests and talking about his success with auto-flowering strains. Then the Dopefiend celebrates catching up with the email backlog by calling for new emails from all the DopeTribe listeners, and polishes off the pile with a message from Seattle Stoner. In the Cannabis News this week, the Dutch ban on magic mushrooms passes, but it won't stop hardcore psychonauts from exploring altered states, Switzerland decides against decriminalizing cannabis despite the pleas of youth advocacy groups, and the oldest evidence of human use of cannabis is found in China. The email pile is gone, so get your comments, questions and suggestions on next week's show! Download this episode hereAnd check out all our great free podcasts here

On this year's special Christmas Day Dopecast, the Dopefiend is in a fiendishly festive mood as he settles down to a serious Christmas morning vape session, starting things off with an I-Inhale packed with New York City Diesel and a chat about what makes this time of year so stoner-friendly, especially with the added bonus of portable vaping this year, how some stoners are explaining away their I-Inhales to confused onlookers, then following a communal moment of celebration for all portable vape-fiends, the Dopefiend hits the emails, starting with a message of festive harvest cheer from long-time listener Podders who's just experienced the benefits of a Volcano for the first time, prompting the Dopefiend to hit the Volcano with some fresh Arjan's Haze, before answering a commmon question posed by Tosha about the best way to begin your psychedelic adventures and whether Salvia Divinorum or Magic Mushrooms are the best introduction, then talks about the strange view of cannabis and cannabis users held by some of the uninitiated. Raising a bag of vape in salute, the Dopefiend goes on to send out a special message to our very own Man With the Velvet Voicebox, Lefty, who's shortly to return with his special brand of music, comedy and chat on the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network, then Floydhead emails with some gripes about his experience with the I-Inhale, with which he's been unable to have much success, and an appeal for some music of the Dopefiend's own choosing, to which the Dopefiend responds with some fresh Sour Diesel vapour and an extra special musical interlude from Sufjan Stevens. Back with a bagful of AK47 vapour, the Dopefiend responds to an email from Scott and talks about the "Gateway Theory": the misguided belief that use of Cannabis is the first step down a slippery slope of hard drug abuse, whether there's any truth to it, and how best to overcome it, then Hemphugger sends in a very fitting story celebrating the season of goodwill, prompting a celebratory I-Inhale packed with strong flavoursome Brainstorm. Ronan sends Christmas Greetings, then Jabba the Blunt raises the likelihood of legalization at some point in the future, and the ignorance that holds it back, including the bad press that Salvia Divinorum has recently inspired, ; leading to some talk about why Cannabis and other natural entheogens are reviled while other modes of consciousness expansion aren't. Finally, the Dopefiend loads up the Volcano with a cocktail of moroccan hash and Aunt Bessie while discussing Barack Obama's recent response to a flood of pro-legalization activists asking for clarification on his position on Cannabis, and whether it's a sign that there's not much change in the works for us stoners. Don't miss Monday's special extra helping of Queerninja, then two incredible coollections of DopeTribe Dispatches on the following two Mondays, before the Dopefiend returns to the Dopecast on January 19th. Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk now to get your comments, questions and suggestions on the first Dopecast of the New Year, send us a voicemail and drop by our Skype Virtual VaporLounge, and check out the forum. New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On the first Dopecast since the Dopefiend's Christmas break, the Web's Favourite Cannabis Commentator talks about the enduring myth that today's Cannabis is far more potent than that smoked by the Hippie Generation, what may have caused such an increase, if it is even present, and compares two contrasting studies from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean into the potency of our sacrament. Next, the Dopefiend sends a special thanks out to the Chieftain of Chill and the many contributors to DopeTribe Dispatches who manned the fort during the holiday season, before hitting the emails, starting with one which tracks the evolution of the Dopecast before asking for more details on the revolutionary I-Inhale Portable Vaporizer. Hopping over onto the wireless, the Dopefiend demonstrates the beauty of portable vaporization by I-Inhaling some tasty Jack Herer from his vault while alerting the DopeTribe to the crusade of Pinky Starr, co-ordinator of this month's Legalization Protest in London, and also mentioning the new alternative forum for stranded members of the Everyone Does It forum, then addresses a particular listener's concerns about the Dopefiend's choice of music on the Dopecast, before disregarding them entirely and taking a hip-hoppin musical interlude. Considerably more stoned than before, the Dopefiend returns with a message of Christmas cheer from the Sixth Sin, then Zoze Pylon gives his personal review of the I-Inhale, comments on the possible future of Cannabis and Hemp under Barack Obama, and directs us to his extraordinary psychedelic animation, the DopeTribe hits Taiwan, DannyGreenFingers recommends the I-Inhale too, and ArcticVapors sings its stealthy praises. In the Cannabis News, Pipboy provides a round-up of the status quo regarding Cannabis law in Norway, the Massachussets police embrace their new decriminalized approach to cannabis use, but the DEA stymies plans to legally grow it there, Ohio joins the list of states banning ancient hallucinogen Salvia Divinorum, the worrying "Hitler Youth"-style trend of children being encouraged to inform on their cannabis-using parents by US school anti-drug programs, Barry Cooper's Kopbusters crusade marches on in a storm of controversy, exposing a judge's eagerness to issue a warrant based on flimsy evidence, another pro-legalization cop gets his job back and a stack of cash, British magistrates bellyache over the Government's new schizophrenic approach to cannabis, and finally The Great Tennessee Marijuana Cave. Complete with hydraulic rock escape hatch! Download this episode hereAnd check out 3 years' worth of FREE stonertainment here

New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend marks today's reclassification of Cannabis in the UK to a Class B drug, meaning the return of 5-year prison sentences for users, and describes the many levels of confusion and con-artistry surrounding the British Government's flip-flopping on Cannabis, and why the news is both bad and good for the average stoner. Hitting the emails, we hear two contrasting Salvia trip-reports from Doperider and her husband, highlighting the importance of set and setting, and having an experienced, calm sitter, then as DopeRider has some questions about the Volcano, the Dopefiend sashays elegantly into the VaporLounge for a taste of some extremely fruity Sour Queen and a chat about the different Valve systems available for the Volcano and how it compares to the I-Inhale, as well as a mention for Dopestock, coming up in Amsterdam this April, before taking a trippy musical break courtesy of Zol. Back from the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend is on Cloud 9 thanks to the Sour Queen, and he hits an email from Adrian who's been enjoying the high from his Volcano and looking forward to the North Sea Jazz Festival this summer, before turning to this week's Cannabis News, which includes the news that Barack Obama has allowed the DEA to raid a Cannabis Dispensary in California despite his repeated promises to end such actions, the new German ban on "legal" but potentially dangerous smoking mix Spice, the increase in popularity of DMT, now also known as "businessman's LSD", the South African flight crew busted with over a hundred pounds of cannabis on arrival at London's Heathrow Airport, the crackdown on cannabis traffic between Mexico and San Diego, the baby who unwittingly grassed up its own cannabis-growing dad, and the lucky Texan who was misdelivered a 30-pund brick of sweet herb. New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast this week, the Dopefiend talks about the looming global recession and how the mighty panacaea Cannabis could be used to cure the planet's financial ills, especially following this week's announcement by the UN's drugs watchdog that only "drug money" could now protect some major banks, and how the ever-buoyant spending of stoners never buckles to the whims of the money markets. Hitting the emails, we hear from long-time listener MattyTHC, who gives praise for the recent Christmas Day dopecast, and tells why this Christmas was his best ever, including some talk of how easy it is to make friends in Amsterdam, especially at Dopestock! Matty also talks about the friendliness of the DopeTribe, leading to a brief chat about why our forum is so much more welcoming than many others. Next we hear from Liz, who treated her man Orangemonkey to a brand new I-Inhale portable vaporizer recently and tells how overjoyed they are having jumped fully on board the Vaporizer Revolution, prompting the Dopefiend to head into the VaporLounge to greet G13, who's packed his I-Inhale with some tasty Northern Lights and partakes in a few tokes and a chat about Dopestock and portable vaping before a musical interlude from the Cheebacabra. Back from the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend returns to the emails, starting with a question from Scott about the munchies and whether the particular strain of Cannabis you smoke awakens different munchie-based desires, leading to some talk about the therapeutic applications of the increased appetite caused by Cannabis use, the Dopefiend's favourite munchies, and how to deal with the munchies if you're watching your weight! Next we hear from 16-year-old Evan who asks whether he should follow his parents' advice and cut the Cannabis out of his young life, prompting some advice from the Dopefiend about the risks of Cannabis use when young, and his own chronology of Cannabis use. Next GrizzlyBear drops an email in singing the praises of the I-Inhale's stealthiness, describes how it compares to the Volcano, and lists the number of public places where he's sampled its goodness, finishing off with a concern about the fact that it uses butane. In this week's Cannabis News, there's another story of banks calling police because cash deposits smelled of ganja, the worrying precedent set by the US Supreme Court this week, which means that police now have the right to stop drivers regardless of any grounds but their own suspicion, the UK's leading expert on drug use shatters the myths about the health risks associated with Cannabis use, and a nurse who's daughter was killed by what the press called a "cannabis-crazed" lover backs Nutt's view, the booklet distributed by British schools which teach kids the best ways to use our secret sacrament, and even mention "less risky" vaporizers! Also in the Cannabis News, the new threat to growers posed by Google Earth, and the Medical Marijuana dispensaries stateside hold Barack Obama to his promise to end the raids! New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's Dopecast, the Web's Favourite Cannabis Commentator, the Dopefiend rings the death knell for the War On Drugs following last week's White House statement that federal raids on America's legal medical cannabis dispensaries will end once President Obama re-staffs the DEA, and also draws attention to the often unpublicised right that jurors have to nullify a conviction because of their disagreement with a law, and its implications regarding cannabis law. Following a sobering message from sponsor Severus, who highlights the therapeutic benefits of psychedelic mushrooms at times of crisis, the Dopefiend hits the emails, starting with a couple on the subject of underage use of cannabis or psychedelics and whether there really are any risks associated with it, leading the Dopefiend to mention this week's BBC Horizon documentary on the possible dangers of cannabis use, and to talk about whether young minds can fully appreciate the depth of the psychedelic experience. Next, the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge to fire up his Volcano and taste some powerful Purple Kush and talk about last week's snowstorm in the UK and the ever-approaching Dopestock in Amsterdam this April before pausing for a bit of British rap. Back from the VaporLounge and sufficently kushed, the Dopefiend reads another positive I-Inhale review from Vigilante Juggernaut, Jerome emails from Australia with a smoke report of some killer California chronic he sampled on a recent trip and Chase drops in a voicemail to show off his own prime stash! In the Cannabis News this week, the fallout from Michael Phelps's bong-smoking pic continues, leading to comparisons with the story of Canadian stoner gold medalist Ross Rebagliati and chastisement from listener Josiah, the Dutch government encourages banks to accept cannabis cash, young people on both sides of the atlantic would rather chat online than use Cannabis, and finally, South Dakota's bid for legit medical cannabis fails, but medical cannabis providers in British Columbia succeed in having their restrictions lifted. New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast this week, Cannabis Commentator the Dopefiend takes an in-depth look at last week's report by the British Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs into the harms associated with Ecstasy or MDMA, and their chairman's assertion that taking it is no more dangerous than riding a horse, paying special attention to the hysterical fallout that ensued in the UK press and parliament. Following a message from sponsor Erica who's working on her own stealthy grow cabinet, the Dopefiend hits the emails, covering subjects as rich and diverse as whether the Dopefiend should remove the early episodes of the Dopecast from availability and the power of the DopeTribe, what the Dopefiend has against cocaine, the truth behind whether modern Cannabis is more potent than that of decades ago, how cannabis can counteract the pain and discomfort related to cataracts, the risks associated with using Cannabis in the American mid-west and how best to use your time to fight for the cause of legalization, before heading off for a stroll with his I-Inhale portable vaporizer while discussing the question of whether Cannabis increases creativity and the 10 most successful potheads, and pausing for a musical interlude from DopeTribe member Big--Dave. Back from his portable vaping mission, the Dopefiend turns to the debate on using Cannabis during youth, with some input from listeners, none of whom seem to have suffered ill effects from it, and some interesting input from Floydhead about knowing your own limits, as well as a first-time LSD trip report. Next, the Dopefiend hits more emails, covering bong rips on the can, the stoner arrested for dealing by his fiancee's cop father, the equipment used to produced the Dopecast, the neverending popularity of the I-Inhale and how to find work in the medical marijuana field in the US. In the Cannabis News, eight people are charged in connection with the Michael Phelps bong-picture party, a new study suggests use of Cannabis increases chances of developing testicular cancer, another teen stoner blows himself up while making hash oil, Washington DC could ban single cigars to prevent smoking of blunts, the 74-year-old milkman guilty of dealing Cannabis to his elderly customers, the tiny town which is the latest in America to allow residents to use medical marijuana, and the very special ninja-related news that has the DopeTribe very excited!
