Curious if anyone has a nutrient for their auto-flower plants. I recently started some G13 labs poison dwarf and was wondering if i should even give it nutes?

try the normal feeding schedule, dilute a 1/4 and work your way up. Twice a week, hows that sound?

I think he is wondering if you nute auto-flower plants differently than nonautoflowering ones.

Autoflowering don't really need nutes. I'd use Bio Grow (vegetative stage) when they are about 2-3 weeks old. Then maybe finish them with Bio Bloom(pre flower/flower stage). They will be finished so quickly though, so it's not practical to buy different nutes for all the life stages. This should be fine.

I got that just didn't see any reason to not do it like you always would. There still a plant thats growing, that needs food like the rest. Never heard of autoflowering needing different nutes or such. my $.02

I just got finishing growing a couple strains of auto and I was up to a teaspoon of the various FF's trio but I did water every other watering and since I had trouble keeping them fed I now decide to feed every watering. The FFOF soil lasted for 2-2.5 weeks from seed and that was all the food they got from their first touch with soil and have been drinking nutes like Steve-O drinks liquor. Growing out my 3rd strain right now and I've feeding every watering and I am getting up to about 3/8-1/2 teaspoon on the bottles through the flowering process every feeding. I use 1.5 gallon pots and have 3's but prefer the smaller ones

okay I have been working on fast flowering and auto's for a while now. I have grown in dirt, coco choir, and DWC hydro. All auto's get fed from the first set of cotyledons on with the following mix.

PBP grow, 1/2 of recommend nute strength, and the other 1/2 is PBP bloom nutes. They get this mix for the first weeks of life until they flower, after I get flowers its on to full strength nutes or even higher strength nutes. They get the same foliar feed ass all my plants, and get a dose of cal max every second feed. I highley recomend starting in larger pots than you would normally use, I have some plants that now are fully bloomed in beer cups. I have got a couple photo's of the small root mass on a fully bloomed auto, grown in DWC. They have surprisingly small roots but then again the roots will be proportionate to the plant.

I currently have some of my breeds developing alternating nodes from the first node on, this breed unfortunately still takes 14hrs or less light to flower, my second breed is now flowering under 18/6. Soon these two will be crossed.

I grow autoflowering plants and of course I use nutes. How the hell is one gonna grow without them? Maybe I missed something but just because the flower no matter tha amount of light does not negate the need to be fed.

I'll be growing a batch of these outdoors, so I'll be interested in keeping tabs on this. I'll be experimenting a bit and let you know what works best for me.
