I don't do coke any more but I am having a debate with a friend. He says it is often cut with baby laxative and that is why sometimes you have to shit right after doing a line.

I think he is full of shit and that it is just something in the coke that upsets your stomach.

Anyone know?

I think it's baking powder or baking soda. I can't remember what. I'v never delt with the stuff so I'm no expert. Don't quote me on that either

Well, here is some info on crack and freebase cocaine......


I want first to express my personal opinion that freebasing is
a very bad thing to do for your body and mind. I have seen a few
people hooked on it, and it is not a nice thing to see. I strongly
disrecommend doing it. It is easy to overdose and die of cardiac
arrest. Some people doing freebase will exhibit the same kind of
behavior as those rats whose pleasure centers are electrically
stimulated: they will do it until either the supply runs out, or until
they die.

The recipes are readily available. In fact, a few years ago,
police officers would go to great lengths explaining how crack was
made when given interviews (at least in Montreal)! There was also an
article in Time a few years ago explaining the procedures.

I have never tried any of those procedures or smoked freebase,
and will never do it. The information I post comes from a used booklet
I bought a long time ago ("Cocaine Handbook", by Davis).

Crack is actually a impure form of freebase. Procedures for
both substances are based on the fact that while cocaine hydrochloride
is very soluble in water, base cocaine is almost insoluble.

freebase:

mix about 1 g of coke in 10 ml of water in a small vial.
Slowly add drops of ammonia to the solution. A white milky precipitate
will form. Stop adding ammonia when additional drops no longer result
in precipitation. Add 5 ml of ethyl ether, close vial, and shake. The
precipitate (freebase) will dissolve in the ether. Siphon off the
ether with a pipette (ether and water don't mix), and slowly drip it
on a plate. As the ether evaporates, white crystals will form. This is
the evil freebase. Crush the crystals and put under a heat lamp for at
least 24 hrs to let the solvent evaporate.

ETHYL ETHER IS EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. IN THE PRESENCE OF AIR IT
CAN FORM PEROXIDES WHICH WILL SPONTANEOUSLY EXPLODE! ALSO, ETHER CAN
"CRAWL" FROM AN OPEN BOTTLE AND TRIGGER AN EXPLOSION MANY FEET AWAY.

This is how Richard Pryor almost died. A lot of untrained
people killed themselves doing that procedure, and this is why crack
is now more popular.

crack:

mix 2 parts ok coke HCL for 1 part baking soda in 20 ml of
water. Heat solution gently until white precipitates form, and stop
heating when precipitation stops. Filter and keep precipitate. wash
precipitate once with water (this procedure usually omitted in street
product). Dry 24 hours under heat lamp. Voila. The product is much
less pure (there is lots of baking soda left) but the procedure is
safer.

Aside from the freebase info that was provided, where baking soda is the additive (this being the 'ghetto' way- using baking soda)

You were reffering to crystaline, or Cocaine HCL (powered form).

It is cut with a variety of things. Can't locate my 'Cocaine Users Handbook' right now, which describes various cuts and how to detect them (my books are in storage)- but what comes to memory is-

- baking soda

- talcom powder

- quinone (sp?)

- lactose...this being the most common I believe (but this not having anything to do with a laxative however. Totally different things. Lactose is a form of dairy product. And, well- you know what a laxative is. Perhaps a mix up of words between the two.)

Yes, lactose is common as a cutting agent...one thing that sucks is that now days people are sold so many different drugs, there true sense for which drug is which does not develop. Some people think E is pure when its super speedy, when really this could be totaly something else besides pure MDMA. SOme people that do lots of coke get started on "shit coke" thats mainly ritalin, dexidrin, or someother speedy and cheap substance. Hell, people will sell tylnonol 3 as coke if they themselves are bingin hard.

One thing is for sure, there is no worry about them cutting your coke with weed! People don't cut "silver with gold" either, so pot should be safe unless your in the land where hard shit is more easily available then killer chron and assholes cut shwag with PCP or some shit. I have actually never heard personally of anyone getting cut weed.

All in all, I hope that peoples cocaine is pure. I bet doing straight up cocaine would cause less mysery in the end. I'm not to big on hard drugs in general (I like the odd zoomer and my buds though) but I really wish these drugs were legal, so that when we institutionilized addicts it would not be in the criminal justice system, but rather a addiction recovery program.

As you should already know, hard drugs can be mixed with a variey of substances. You must realize how many hands cocaine goes through before it reaches you...probably lots.

If its powder cocaine and not crack...it usually is cut with vitamin b, and this is a fact...Thats what they used back when i was geeking.Dont want to mess with that cocaine shit...It will ruin everything..Your life,Your mind,Your family...and everyone in between..It will take everything from you,I mean everything....I have been there, done that.I have been clean from that crap for 7 years, and never want to look back.Just stay away from that satanic dust, and smoke a joint, much more fun :) Please take my advice..Also,.Its not fun looking at serious time. I won't consider to buy any drug if I think it has cut in it. I won't advise anyone I know to take a drug with cut in it either. I don't mind paying more money if it means a better high, and knowing whats in it. Especially with MDMA, when you hear of ecstacy deaths, its not because of the ecstacy, its because of the cut. Same with alot of other drugs, often its not the overdose, its the messed up chems in it. I think putting cut into drugs is a completely unethical also. Whether it be putting PCP into weed to make it appear stronger, or putting some wierd drug or substace in with E or coke. If you sell, your customers will respect you for it and in the end you will be known for your superior product and not fucking around.

heres whats up i havent seen a good answer from anybody. even the crack methods are bad. its 7parts coke to 1 part baking soda. not 2 to 1. 2 to 1 wont even get the crackhead high. and ether isnt needed. crack is usually water coke and drops of ammonia then heat the glass. anyways to get to your question, its usually cut with nozatole. coke runs through ure system like water it has nothing to do with laxative. people used to cut coke with creatine but that gives feinds nosebleeds up the ass and no one does that anymore. so be safe and cut it with calcium tylenol or nozatole. i like cutting it with calcium the best, they cant even tell its cut.

you're partially wrong it isnt cut with vitamin B unless it is pink coke. Vitamin B is naturally pink. and it would very easily to tell the difference between snowwhite blow cut with vitamin B cause B is pink and ud be able to tell its cut unless u got some pink peruvian blow. and sniffing vitamin b isnt very healthy.
