adultindgos.com I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Indigo "phenomenon" but, I have a theory as to why many of you might be indigo's as well. First off, here is were I'm coming from. I believe I'm an Indigo adult (check out the link). I also think many Cannabis users currently between their teen years and late 20's have a high chance of being indigo's as well. One very common trait of indigos is the label of ADD/ADHD. A common trait of those labeled with ADD/ADHD is smoking weed to self medicate. Therefore I think it's highly possible that many of you will identify with the traits listed on the site linked above. Let me know what you think! P.S. Just FYI, I'm not certain that this indigo thing has merit. I'm sure some of you surly will think it's BS. All I can tell you is I've always known I was really different than most and this is the best explanation for me so far. So I'm hoping this thread doesn't become about the merits of the indigo theory because I don't think we will find much constructive discussion down that road.

Surprised me how many points I actually identified with.

I identified with every point on that page.
Since finding out about Indigo Children a couple of years ago, I have been on my own path to let go of childhood woundings. It's not easy, ego wants us to believe it's all we have, so it pushes all of our buttons so we'll hold on to it.
As I began letting go of the woundings (learning to love and forgive all others AND myself), I began to purge physically, dropping pounds as if they were never there to begin with (at the height of the effects of my emotional woundings I weighed 296 lbs, I now weigh 165 and ate what I wanted every single day).
The Indigo Children/Adults are here to break the cycles of woundings that all people go through, whether it is from parents, church, school, medical science, or otherwise. Most wound others before realizing they, themselves, are wounded and choose to stop the cycle, this is how the cycle of wounding has continued throughout the centuries.
As Indigo Adults, we learn to let go, love, forgive, and BREAK THE CYCLE so that it will truly be a new world for the generations to come.
If anyone has questions, I and several people around me have done much in-depth study of this phenomenon, the emotional woundings that come with it, and ways in which to break free of the cycle and find the loving, unfettered, creative soul we came into the world with.
Believe it or not, everything truly is working out for the highest good, as long as we do our (relatively small) individual parts and take the time to heal ourselves. Simple as that! Allow yourself to heal, and your glory will shine through!
I send all of you beautiful souls the deepest love from the Source of All.

@ Heather B: I would love to talk with you more about this, maybe privately unless others feel they could benefit from reading or being part in this discussion. Q's for you at the moment: -What are the best books/ websites/ etc. for finding usable info on living as an indigo? Unfortunately much of what is written that you could lump into the "New Age" category seems lacking in real content. I know there is good info out there, were is it!? - Have you done any psychic development work? how does this fit in, in your opinion? I've been working on it myself but wile I am making some notable progress the pace is slow and I still don't have any real control over the teeny tiny bit of ability I do have at this point. I'll think of more questions but I'm pressed for time at the moment (gotta go try the bud I just picked up lol). Thanks!

@ Jack: Thanks, I'll check that out.
@ Cannadude420: I think your missing the point. What were talking about is more like spiritual personal development. It's not anything like a religion, at least not for me. It's part of my larger spiritual ideas and understandings. I don't think its one or the other, why cant we work on our selfs wile also seeking advice from those around us? The site itself btw, wasn't really the point. I wasn't trying to endorse any content on that site besides the list of traits.

This is a re-post from another thread ( Surrender or Suffer), but it definitely applies here. For daily practice in embodying the "I Am" existence, I HIGHLY recommend Sahaja Yoga. This is not an "exercise" type of yoga, it is a meditation that will remind you of your connection to Source, and will bring you into the Now in daily life. It also activates Kundalini (individual power through connection with Source) and causes it to rise within the body's central nervous system, cleansing dis-ease and re-aligning us with our individual roles in the great tapestry of life. There are many reasons why I love this form of meditation, but the most important is that in over 100 countries it is always presented FREE OF CHARGE. Weekly meetings: FREE Conferences: FREE Online meditations: FREE Loving assistance in becoming One with yourself and All that Is, Was, and Ever Shall Be: PRICELESS It is only in Surrender that we find our True selves. ----- Regarding good info about Indigos and the evolution of Humanity, check these pages: - E.T. 101: The Cosmic Instruction Manual for Planetary Evolution (if you choose only one thing to read from this list, in my opinion, this should be it) - Transmuting Negative Emotions as a Path to Personal Peace (if there are two things from this list you read...!) - Another on Transmutation- Synchronicity- Rainbow Family- Indigo-E.T. Connection (please take with a grain of salt, I have not read all of this, but what I did read seemed a little helpful) - Another Indigo Description Page- Starseed Transmission (another to take with a grain of salt, but some ideas in this cross-reference to Hopi prophecies) - Hopi Prophecies- Another Indigo Description PageThis one requires a bit of discernment, because though much of it I resonate with, some of it still reeks of control mechanism (like the Bible before it). There is a lot of wisdom in this book, and much regarding Christ Consciousness and our ability to become co-creators with "God", because ultimately we are all part of "God". Careful, a person who is truly seeking could spend weeks here. The Urantia Book** One of my favorites (that doesn't take very long): An incredible meditation page for the awakening and alignment of the chakras: - Chakra AlignmentAsk me anything. Peace.
