Due to bad lungs for my whole life, I have recently cut down on my inhalation of smoke. I am trying to go every 3 days with no weed. I have done it in the past, but never can seem to stick with it because all my friends smokey da ganja.
This time around im serious about it, because i know if i dont stop then i will have baaaad consequences for my lungs.


But here's the thing.
When i go without thc, i get VERY angry at the littlest of things. A day or 2 without weed is like HELL to me, just because the slightest thing can send me in a huge anger trip. Throwing shit around, slamming doors, etc.
What the hell should I do??? I know i can't continue to smoke pot for a whole lot longer the way i have been for the past couple of years. literally high all day every day. But going without just makes me feel crazy when something happens.

I have no suggestions, but all I can say is I can relate. I can go off at the slightest thing and it's hard to control that when you have a kids.

Hopefully someone can suggest something!

Maybe thats the thing. With my mom working 3 provinces over, i basically have to take a parental role. im not fit to be in that position. 20 and still wanna party, but i realized theres responsibilty at home first now.... nobody else does shit.

I am basically looking after my younger brother and sister (the sister is where moooost of the problems come into play though.) it could just be stress. i am the one who cleans up after everyone else... does laundry, dishes, cooks half the time, gets siblings off to school, and picks them up. Like i know in the long run this will be good for me, but right now it's just too much for me to handle i think.

Could be the stress.

I've always been horrible at dealing with stress. Comes from growing up in a very dysfunctional, stressful home. Pot is the only thing that sets me straight and lets me think before I act. I can get pretty out of control sometimes. Then I have a panic attack because I'm having a stress attack.. it's a big circle.

I'm willing to bet your problem could very well be the same or at very least similar. Doing what your doing is pretty stressful.

Sounds like any other addiction, you get irritable without it. Just make it over that hump until you can function calmly without pot. I'd be worried if I smoked that often and when I stopped I would get so ticked at thing I would slam and throw shit.

I was like this even before I started using cannabis regularly, so no it's not an addition issue, for me at least. I have always had bad anxiety and a horrible temper. Again, it's due to how I grew up.

I really hate when people say it's because I'm addicted to pot. Was I addicted when I was 10 and throwing shit around because people pissed me off? No.

Sorry to get snippy, but it just irritates me that people automatically go to the 'you're addicted" route, like I'm some junky needing her fix.

Yea it's not because im addicted. and yea mom4, i too grew up in a veeery disfunctional home. hell what am i talkin about, its still so disfunctional its not even funny, just very stressful now that im getting older. What i got thinking is, its just all the shit that has built up over my life thats starting to come to the surface now when i dont smoke. And when i mention to my buddies that 'oh yea ive had enough im movin out soon' they laugh at me and think i have the perfect life because of the house i live in..... WRONG! before this house, we used to live in little ass shacks basically. my parents only bought this house because they were smart with their money. the first few months of my life were probably more fucked up than most ppl's entire life. but thats another story.

I'd say you should either buy a vaporizer or start baking, theres no reason to go without cannabis as there are many safe ways of ingesting it that do not involve smoking

I really would love a vaporizer, but they are expensiiiive. i had one, bought it for $70.... 2 weeks later it stopped working.
I have thought about baking, but from stories i have heard from alot of people, it gives you a different kind of high.
