you go by how it taste and how hot the hit is in your mouth determins how far into the bowl the flame tip go's..they come with instructions too..its not a fancy one its just a hand held bowl type vaporizer ..if your wondering how a vaporizer works ..there are diffrent kinds but they all are on the same ptrincepal..the heat warms the thc till it turns to a vapor ..around 200 degrees i think but not sure ..yeah its a neat toy but i dont smoke out of it all the time just when i have some really nice tasting weed ..i have never smoked out of a bong size one that has its own heat control and sourse ,so i have nothing to compare it to ....but this is a ok for my use ..i have also seen a glass one on line to but i cant remember what they called it ..seems to me it was something like ubie or obie ..naw i dont rember now ..

Im saving up the next month or so and buying a full out real vaporizer, looking at volcanos but a buddy said theres something called a vapeer and there cheaper and pretty much the same thing.

No, havnt really looked for vapeer. i would rather purchase in person rather than online. And i havn't seen any vapeer's in any headshops so ill stick with volcano, i have seen those.

Finally starting to hear some friends down here talk about the Silver Surfer vape. One guy says he likes it better than his Volcano!

Not a bad price tag on that silver surfer, WW. Certainly a candidate. It's excellent how you know someone who can compare it to a volcano. Even better that he prefers it! Have you ever tried them?

I was going to go for something very cheap to see how I felt about the whole concept. However, if I could get some good prices like these there isn't much reason why I shouldn't jump straight in there. Maybe it's time I begun a trust fund

I'd love to see a video of the shake and vape in action. Better to judge that way. I think shipping is about 8 dollars for the US. 22 bucks might not be too bad. Would love to see it in use first though!

I have never tried the Silver Surfer myself... YET!
I will as soon as the friend I told you about buys his. He's already got the 'cano and another (digital, whip-style) vape and now he's hooked on the Silver Surfer. When he tried it at another mutual friend's place, he fell in love.

I personally have the Volcano and don't really use it all that much even though I paid nearly $500 for it a couple of years ago!

I also own the "volatizer." It is a vaporizer that you use with a BONG!!! I love it, but I guess it never really caught on. There is a chance for "user error" with the volatizer, so maybe that's why.
Volatizer's M2 Vape... This is the one I have!

But yeah, luckily I've been able to get opinions on a LOT of different vapes from friends. Most tokey-folks I hang with up here have at least one vape... many have multiples.
