I got a Hermaphrodite, got both the white pistils and pollen sacks, what do you guys usually do with them?

KILL THEM.

Not much good for hash. You could get a bit of green oil off it, but probably not worth it. The best thing to do is compost it.

I don't know, I have a White Widow CLONE that is a hermie. I was curious if the clone would keep mother's hermie tendency, even though I took the clone before I triggered hermie-nous by messing up the 12/12 light cycle. It did, but it also makes some righteous smoke. I would try harvesting a bud before you trash it, but also before it goes to seed.

it all depends on how much of the plant is male. I've had hermies that only had a few bananas here and there which were easy to remove before they developed.

If the male parts are easy to remove and you are able to watch them every day several times a day then I say just keep on removing the male parts and salvage what you can. If you don't want the possibility of seeds or there are too many male flowers then I say go ahead and pull it.

SH88 is right.....see if u can pull those yellow bananas(male flower) out.

They usually show up the last two weeks before harvest time.

Pluck them out before those yellow bananas turn into yellow powder and blow away.
You will see them sticking out of the top cola or colas and at the nodes.

I have just gone through a long stretch of hermie strain, that i finally eliminated. It was a pain in the ass because as they ripened ,it required constant monitoring.

I think the question that you should ask yourself, (that the weedsnobs arent asking either) is that, is that your only plant with which to harvest smoke? Do you have other non hermie, female plants that are in danger of being pollinated of the male flowers mature?

If its your only plant, and its predominately female with only a few male flowers (as some have had the wit to suggest), It would be very much worth, I would think, taking the effort to get rid of as many male flowers as possible, and take experience AND smoke away from it.

Now.. If you are infact growing other girls and they are in danger of pollination, by all means chop it down and turn it into compost, or even tea. I used a bit of my male from last summer and made a bit of tea with it just to try it out, and with a bit of mint and some orange zest it was rather pleasant.

i agree with you tokin if it is your only plant and u can pick off the flowers and keep constant eye on it and it doesnt get super bad try to save it why not what do u have to lose.
