Yeah, the cloner holds at about 76 degrees. I have a space heater in the room (you can see it in the corner behind mama) but I don't set it too warm, otherwise it stays on all the time. I was going to get an aquarium heater for it, but with spring right around the corner that corner is going to warm up soon enough. As I'm not in a hurry for any clones right now (my current crop went under 12/12 two days ago) I planned to ride it out and hope for the best. Plus, shy of adding another circuit, I'm just about maxed out on electric usage in there, and I don't want to hillbilly it with an extension cord. Yeah, mama will likely end up in the 1/2 bath in my bedroom to flower I have some AK and WW seeds I want to get going, and I'm going to be needing the space, and unfortunately I just don't have the floor space in my flowering room to put her in there. I'll be taking between 50 and 60 cuts from her so that'll help curb her size, but she's still a big girl and is going to need some room when the time comes. As it is now, her root mass is so big in that bucket that it really doesn't have much room to grow, and I'm thinking that by the time it's all said and done there will be roots growing up the blue sight tube on the bucket. Wouldn't that be something

Well the aquarium store had a huge sale going, so I said what the hell and got a decent heater for 30 bucks. Went from a meager 75-76 all the way to a downright balmy 85- and overnight the roots came out in force! I didn't add any superthrive, as my travels didn't get me to wally world- instead I made a very light nute mix just to add a little something to the pot. A couple of the heartily-rooting clones are taking a yellowish hue to their leaves so I figured it was about time. I'm using the basic GH 3-part in the 1-1-1 mix, at 20% (3 gallons of 1-1-1 and 12 gallons RO). *Very* light, just so those little roots have something to feed on. I'll get some pics up asap. It's a beautiful sight to behold (Thanks for the sticky Earl!)

Root pr0n At 12 days, there is some serious root action going! Granted, not all have rooted yet- there are 3 that are just showing the slightest nubs of roots starting, and two of them have nothing at all to show for their nearly two weeks in the cloner. However, the two with no sign of rooting at all are two of the largest cuttings, and they are both "woodier" than the rest. My next trick will be to plant these. I was going to toss them, as they were just experimental, but they *are* females, and with garden season fast approaching, I might as well start some little ones for future use I have the temp in the cloner rez at about 82 degrees now. It was up to 86, but I felt like it was just too warm for them so I dropped the temp a bit, and they haven't skipped a beat.
