I've always read that Green Dragon is best mixed in a citrus-type soft drink, like 7-Up. I'm just about to make some myself. Not only is it a different way to consume THC, but it is also called for in some recipes, like hard candies and lollipops.

slow (stoner way) update:

the final product was some real interesting stuff. my friends would take a half shot and be blitzing for hours. i, on the other hand, would get more drunk than high and it would only last about 40mins. i'm thinking its the way my metabolism works (same way when eating cannabis).

but don't let that discourage you. i'm guessing this is a unique case. after a whole shot's worth (ugh. tastes like burning. literally) i was pretty drunk within minutes. my friend was sipping on it before and during TDK and said he was thinking to himself 'this is so intense.' over and over. haha.

anyway, try it out for yourselves. you probably won't be disappointed. if you follow what i've done that whole bottle can last months on end. unless if you love guzzlin the 190 proof.

i was wondering , can u use the leafs and other leftovers from ur plants to make this?its either this or hash maybe both is what i want to do w/ my "leftovers"

I'm glad to see Master Wu's recipe is getting around. This is my primary way of MJ intake and IMO is the best method around.

One thing I will add, if I may, is to use as high an alcohol content that you can buy. I like to use 94% Alcool from Quebec. I dissolves more THC than the Bacardi 151. Two ml (two droppers full) is enough to keep me going for 4 hrs. I have done 4 but it knocks me on my ass. If you need pain killers, this is the best.

What is the strength of the alcohol after the process? Doesn't most of it cook off during the warm water bath?

I sometimes water cur buds before using them in Green Dragon. The resulting liquor is a very pale golden color without any chlorophyll in it.

After that I dilute it down to about 80 proof using distilled water. Sometimes I add flavoring such as dried orange peel or various essential oils (almond is nice).

Thanks for the tips Osg. I'll give the water cure a try next time.

My next run I think I'll add more medicinal herbs to the tinc (e.g., kava kava, valerian, coltsfoot, feverfew, eyebright,etc..)
