BC Seeds has come out with a strain called Elephant Bud but it is excessively expensive. Has anyone grown it out yet? If so, please give particulars.

ok peep this. I went to their website and found this:
This is the BIGGEST MOST POTENT STRAIN ON EARTH. Elephant Bud has such a huge cola, you see it bending over to one side due to it's massive weight in bud. I've never seen a cola so large since upsate. She is huge right from germination, and so vigerous, you barely have a vegetation stage. Thankfully flowering this giant is FAST, REALLY FAST. If your a commercial grower you'll save money on electricity and your cusomters will be begging for more if you can keep it in stock. ELEPHANT BUD is our best creation, I seriously doubt we will be able to breed such a monster strain again. Elephant Bud raises the bar so high, nothing else will be able to match it for at least another 10 years. The smoke is so powerful and intense, and YOU MUST be careful if your not used to BC Genetics, as she is our most potent THC Strain Ever Created on planet earth. We have limited quantities and IT WILL SELL OUT, so order today and we will put a pack aside for you. Limited of 2 packs maximum order per person.
Creative salesmanship or the real deal? In any case the price is 495 bones canadian. They also have a strain they call upstate, that is 350 and is supposed to have a flower time of 6 weeks and be the highest yielding plant ever.
Someone should do an experiment to see if it's b.s. If it's legit we need to get the word out and get some shit poppin'

Hey All,

I remember when "Brothers Grimm" brought out "Cinderella 88", then "Cinderella 99". Each time it was the plant of plants. THEY called Cinderella the "Holy Grail" of the pot world, but there was a reasonable price attached to the genetics, $150 from Heaven's Stairway.

I grew it out, it was a nice plant, but no better than anything else I've ever grown. It had a fruity aroma like they said, low smell for growing, a large yeild not anything I would say "HOLY SHIT" over but good, and they said "It was mostly Sativa with a 8 week flowering time", which it was. But, definitely not the "Holy Grail" of pot. It was all head, it had no personality, nothing that made me stand up and cheer when it came to the stone. I'm sure it was the shit to the Bros Grimm, as I'm sure this is the shit when it comes to this Breeder. Is it worth the $495 for the seeds, I'm going to say "no". For five hundred dallors Canadian or other wise, I can get some genetic's I know and trust.

Drop the price, let us try the genetics out. If they are worth it, we'll(The Consumer) buy them, but not for $500.00.

Peace...Buddha

PS. Why can't they breed these seeds again. Most breeders keep very exact records, unless they lost a parent plant, there should be no problem to reproduce. This is the question I'm asking myself. Sounds like the breeder's selling used cars.
