Don't your bulbs at least sway in the wind created by the fan blowing on top and underneath them? I read you just hang them on chains and am curious. _________________________ The Land of Free? bongrippinbob Old hand Registered: 10/17/06 Posts: 982 Loc: In The Clouds	In my setup, which is a 6'x6'x6' version of this one, my fan is on the floor blowing straight up. Since it is blowing straight up, the fan is not powerful enough to lift the light so it doesn't move. I do have a fan on the wall as well, but it doesn't move my bulbs at all. The one on the wall is just a 6" desk fan, and the one on the floor is like a 12" fan rated at 440cfm. I also have an intake fan and a 747cfm exhaust fan, so there is quite a bit of air movement. _________________________ Anything I say is pure fiction. I don't grow/condone growing pot. All pics posted are from the internet. Plus, I'm a med patient. So get off my back!!

I built this pretty much the same except I have 2 with 3 shelves and 2 with the original 2 shelves. My top shelf on the 3 one is a little high, I just reduced the angle and am thinking I will just have to tie them a lot more. After my first cycle I will pick either 2 or 3 for them all. The other funny thing is I didnt account for drainage at all, at least the floor is cement and there is a drain, but who knows how it will turn out. Before I built I didnt catch on to the sloped for drainage...oh well, not starting over because my construction skillz suck. But hmm, do you think it might be worth it to stabilize the sockets somehow? Or just hang them with chains and they will be fine? _________________________ The Land of Free? And it is kind of nice to be able to move the bulbs while you're watering and whatnot. The sockest are somewhat stablilized by the utility boxes or what ever they are attached to. Plus the weight of the socket, the bulbs, and the chain keep it from moving. _________________________ Anything I say is pure fiction. I don't grow/condone growing pot.
