Hey buddy, I just used your mix about a week ago, and I ended up with the same situation that Pseudo had. Not as bad as he did, but I lost a few fan leaves. The new growth is just fine though. I only gave them one dose, and I don't really see any signs of mites at all. Next time I will use at 1/2-3/4 strength.

I was wondering when the smell goes away? I sprayed it a week ago, and let them dry before bringing them in the house, but when I open up my cab, they still smell like fish. Will the smell go away soon?

Also, last grow I watered with neem oil. It says on the bottle it can be done and should be used every 2-4 weeks in the soil. I didn't have any ill effects from it, and the buds taste fine. I used it about 4 weeks into flower. I was wondering if you have any experience with using it like this?

It seemed to work pretty well, and kept the mites at bay for a couple of weeks. I think if I would have watered with it again, I wouldn't of had any problems. Like you said, the neem is a systemic, so I figured this was the best way to apply it to the plant. Any opinions on this?

Thanks,
Bob

i have noticed that the damage is usually strain dependent. i sprayed with about a 75% mix, and it has been 2 days with zero damage ive seen so far on the new genetics that are in there. maybe il bump it back up to the full mix and wash them off after they dry. il try that when i spray again

as for the smell. it usually lingers in my room for 4-7 days at least. it hasnt been as bad this time because it was a 75% mix. i think washing them off after they dry like ICS should help the smell considerably.

yup...that seems to be the consensus...I'll edit the original recipe to half strength, and let folks adjust as needed..the smell goes away faster in the summer when I'm vegging outdoors..I think wind/sun fix the odor issue faster when your outside,..

as mentioned...I dunno ANYTHING that kills off eggs like this product...again, its best for vegging plants, but can be used for flowering plants also..

Innercity,

I was checking out your link. When I went to distributor's, it showed me a map of the USA. I take it you can't buy this product in Canada.

I got mine at Home Depot. I am not sure if there are Home Depot's in CA, but if there are, it should be there.

Thanks Guys,

Don't think it's avalible here in Canada. I will ask at the grow store(Hydroponics), if I can get it, it will be there.

You can't buy Superthrive in Canada, you could years ago but not now. Which sucks because it was a big part of my formula. There are a lot of products you can't buy here in Canada, that you can perchase in the USA. It has nothing to do with growing pot, because all your Nutes, Growing medium, even lights, can be bought at Revy(big Canadian hardware store chain) and Home Depot. It's a goverment thing, you know how it works, I'm sure it's the same in the USA...stupid .

i couldn't find it locally in the states either, but stumbled upon it in a worms way store. they don't have it in their catalog, but it might be worth checking into as they might ship to Canada

You can buy superthrive in Canada, but it will be renamed to hydrothrive I beleive. I have a bottle which I will verify with later. It's similar as GroZyme in Canada, and HyGroZyme in the US.

Edit Reason: confirmed the name is hydro-thrive in Canada. You can order this from Homegrown Hydroponics.
