New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about the schizophrenic nature of America's policy on Cannabis, and how the introduction of Medical Marijuana dispensaries in states with legal Medical Marijuana has reduced teen use of Cannabis as well as relieved suffering. Following a quick mention for the great Queerninja, now back on the forum and in the Virtual Vapour Lounge for a limited time, the Dopefiend begins this week's emails with a view on Israel's Cannabis scene and how "hydro" is on the rise over there, his unsuccessful struggle to find a vaporizer in Amsterdam, and a brief report on a hostel-based shroom trip, then the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge for a taste of this year's Cannabis Cup winner G-13 Haze and a chat about the Big Chill gathering of the Dopefiend.co.uk family, where we have a huge communal tent booked for extra vape-ready comfort, followed by a musical interlude from Dave Osborn. Afterwards, the Dopefiend adresses an email from the Wannabe Pothead, leading to a brief chat about how to begin psychedelic exploration and a mention for portable lighter-powered vapo-pipe the vaporgenie, then responds to an email about how a return to Cannabis after a break has resulted in paranoia and night terror, then a report on how the law deal with Cannabis use in the state of Virginia and a short Salvia trip report. In the Cannabis News, Truthmissile emails a study comparing deaths from prescription drug abuse to those caused by illegal drugs, the Indianapolis cops busted for trafficking herb, why there was less Lucy than normal at this year's Bonnaroo festival, and why you shouldn't eat your herb if you're pulled over. New Today from the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast the Dopefiend talks about the suggested link between Cannabis and psychosis, and the new study which shows that Cannabis strength has not increased significantly in recent years, then hits the emails starting with a story from Enzo about his first smoke and the"rat shit" soap bar available where he lives, then he answers some propaganda-based criticisms of Cannabis use levelled at Buckwheat by his girlfriend. The Dopefiend then heads into the VaporLounge where he shares a bag of Sour Diesel with Squidgy Sid, reminisces about Diplomatic Hash and talks about his current supplier and the resurgence on popularity of Mail Order Marijuana, featuring a mention for Tommy Chong and a chat about the impending gathering of Dopefiend.co.uk family members at the Big Chill festival in August and plans for "Extreme Volcano" sessions in the DopeTent, leading to a Big Chill-themed musical interlude, after which, still in the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend and Squidgy Sid discuss the difference between indica and sativa strains and how sticking to one or the other can change your whole view on the world, whether the police's view on Cannabis use in the UK has changed since the Government announced plans to reclassify it, a mention for Jack Herer and Alex Jones courtesy of zenitZenZen, followed by a bit of controversy over how much tobacco should go into a hash joint, then they discuss an interesting story about an outbreak of salmonella-laced weed in the early eighties, before discussing the likely future prohibition of Salvia Divinorum in the USA, whether the sudden interest in it reflects a return to the archaic, and finally discuss tomorrow's Dutch smoking ban and how it will affect the coffeeshops of Amsterdam. The email pile is low, so get your questions, comments and suggestions on the Dopecast very soon! Download this episode FREE hereAnd check out all our great free podcasts here

On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about this week's introduction of the tobacco-smoking ban in Amsterdam and how, if at all, it'll affect the Cannabis Coffeeshop culture out there, especially since coffeeshop owners are already being bombarded with unwanted interference from the Dutch government. Then he hits the emails, starting with a trio of reviews for inexpensive vaporizer options the Da Buddha, the Vapor Brothers new model, and the horrendously ineffective Vapir/Voodoo family of vaporizers, and how the news about the Amsterdam smoking ban is now helping to raise the profile of vaporizers and spreading the good word, then he heads into the VaporLounge to show off his Volcano Digit again and to sample some true gourmet Blue Cheese while talking about the grower behind it and also giving another mention for Dopefiend.co.uk's coming expedition to the Big Chill festival, before a musical interlude created by listener Kid Capricious. Considerably lifted following the Blue Cheese, the Dopefiend returns with a report of a gathering of Dopefiend.co.uk listeners in the north of England and a chat about how listeners all over the world are now contacting each other thanks to our new social networking software built in to http://www.thegrowreport.com, talks about Squidgy Sid's claims to be able to out-roll the Dopefiend, despite his use of an entire half-ounce of Golden Virginia for one hash joint, then MattyTHC talks about the difficulties of not knowing which strain your smoking, prompting the Dopefiend to talk about whether the strain name makes any difference to your enjoyment of the herb, after which there's some continued discussion on the subject of keeping your Volcano hidden, and the Dopefiend has a stoned epiphany and designs a Volcano-housing Coffee Table live on the Dopecast! In this week's Cannabis News, good news for those suffering from arthritis, though only if you don't want to get high!, more proof that the War on Drugs isn't working with the news that there are twice as many stoners per capita in the USA as there are in weed-legal Holland, more reasons why you should never toke and drive, especially with three ounces and a gun in your boot, why Ottawan stoners' and medical users' liberties are at risk thanks to a new Ottawan law, and the new comprehensive report on Cannabis available for you to download now. New today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: This week on the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about the benefits of magic mushrooms and psychedelic medicines in general, following the news that participants of a 2002 magic mushroom study are still feeling positive effects now, then describes a little synchronous occurence involving this week's sponsor Larz133, before talking about a comment made by the late George Carlin about his use of Cannabis, leading to a brief chat about the Dopefiend's favourite comedians. The Dopefiend then hits the emails, starting with a request for suggestions of the stealthiest and most cost-effective ways of consuming Cannabis without creating an odour, then a mention of a "green-friendly cleaning company" and over-dried bud and whether or not it could actually be vapo-poop, Mota Guy waxes lyrical about his new Silver Surfer, and ShellsBells explains why she's another satisfied Volcano user, prompting the Dopefiend to hit the VaporLounge and a bag of rich-flavoured Kahuna vapour before a custom musical interlude from listener The Soundscape Gardener. Back from the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend reads a long overdue account of our 100th Episode party in Amsterdam which begs the question of whether better quality herb is less likely to give you a whitey, followed by a story from Ronoc about how his parents have forced him to abandon his use of Cannabis, and how he's found it surprisingly easy, with the help of the "contact high" from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network, followed by a chat about whether use of Cannabis early in childhood can lead to substance abuse in later life. TimP the Pimp kicks off the Cannabis News with a story explaining why he supports Colorado Cannabis Crusader Mason Tvert's campaign to introduce Cannabis Lounges to airports, a new study shows that Cannabis in Holland hasn't increased in strength since 2004, and that British Cannabis has all but caught up to Amsterdam's finest in terms of strength and quality, and another blow struck for Medical Cannabis users in Europe. On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend kicks things off by talking about the lies told by governments around the world in an attempt to curb the use of Cannabis, why the United States government is the biggest culprit, and how they're being fought on their own turf by the rising tide of pro-cannabis state law, including the current move to legalize cannabis outright in California. After a brief reminder of next week's Dopefiend gathering at the Big Chill festival and our other upcoming live events at the Notting Hill Carnival and the UK Hemp Expo, the Dopefiend hits the emails, starting with some info on tobacco alternatives, some general ethnobotanical chat and an offer of free Salvia cuttings from Dank Avenger, prompting some Salvia cultivation advice from the Dopefiend, and an incredible Salvia trip report and some words of advice from Gwiito for first-time Salvia trippers, followed by some questions about "grit weed" and other adulterated cannabis from new HerbalAire owner Old Brasso, prompting the Dopefiend to head into the VaporLounge and hit some Jack Herer while talking about the possibilities of making a Volcano-style vaporizer from a pop-corn machine, and whether the Exteme Vaporizer or the HerbalAire is the best Volcano alternative. After a musical interlude submitted by DaddyGreenJeans, the Dopefiend reads an email from Komrade, who's just returned to Cannabis after a 15-year break, zatoeric explains what a green-friendly cleaning company is, and describes his solar-powered smoking method, and FunkyMarque waxes lyrical about the beauty of Blue Cheese. In the cannabis News, an update on the status of British DJ Grooverider, still languishing in jail in Dubai, the news that Massachussets is moving to ban Salvia Divinorum, among some other things, the threat to UK growers from the North Yorkshire Police's heat-seeking helicopter, and the huge Cannabis bust that fell apart in court due to glory-hunting cops. New today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about the news that attempts to curb drug use in the United Kingdom by law enforcement methods have failed miserably and cost billions, and why successive governments have consistently ignored calls to deal with the causes of drug use in favour of trumpeting the "War on Drugs". In the Email, show sponsor ET suggests that the criminal gangs running drug operations may have drug warrior politicians in their pockets, just like the good old days of Al Capone, The Peaceful Warrior talks about Cannabis affecting dreams and gives his view of the Chinese regime and cannabis scene as a worker on the Olympic Games, prompting some talk from the Dopefiend about human rights abuses in China, Evan emails about his coming University experience, hopefully to be nhanced by a communal Volcano and a cool roommate, then we hear a voicemail from Floydhead and friend, chilling with some vape, a guitar, and some Salvia-related chat, after which the DOPefiend hits the VaporLounge for a bag of some powerful Blue Cheese and a chat about Volcano whip-accessory the VaporDome and what other Volcano enhancements might be possible, plus a chat about Psychedelic Salon supremo Lorenzo. Following some real indica blues from Michael and his band, The Lowdown, Christine the Grower reviews her brand new VaporGenie pocket vaporizer, and the Dopefiend mentions a recent scare concerning one of the VaporGenie's imitators. In the Cannabis News this week, the tragic story of Rachel Hoffman, the Cannabis user forced to enter an active crime scene under threat of five year's jail, the £4 cannabis posession case that cost the UK courts three years of wasted time, the ONDCP release their Propagandist's Pocketbook on Pot, full of the sorts of lies we've come to expect, and US Politician Barney Frank's drinve to legalize posession of up to 100 grams of Cannabis. New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's extra special episode of the Dopecast live from the beautiful Big Chill festival, a very very wasted Dopefiend kicks off festivities at the DopeTent by chatting to Squidgy Sid, G13 and Cannaya about the perils of their trip up to the festival from London, how they instantly necked some Philosopher's Stones on arrival and what ensued during the course of the evening, including the insanity of the Dopetent on shrooms and Nitrous Oxide, featuring some exclusive flashback audio from the very moment itself. Son of Gonzo, Floydhead, Jay_K and Flick then describe their arrival at the Big Chill, and Happydaze777 talks about being the first to arrive at the Big Chill and what he got up to to pass the time, and what he thought about the Philosopher's Stones and how the Nitrous Oxide blended with them. After a toke of some sweet Juicy Fruit x Early Girl and a musical interlude, we relocate to the interior of the DopeTent for a communal Nitrous Oxide session followed by a Saturday evening chat with Floydhead about the onset of his mescaline experience, a few words from Squidgy Sid about his plans for Saturday night, which include MDMA. Cannaya tells us about his history of MDMA use and G13 takes a bomb of MDMA crystals live on the Dopecast, then Son of Gonzo tells us how he's enjoying the Philosopher's Stones and what he plans on doing while under the influence, and also displays some nice hash he managed to pick up at the festival. The Dopefiend then chats to Star about his first festival experience and the extraordinary amount of herb he's been smoking, has a quick chat with Jay_K about his bad luck ordering magic mushrooms and how even that won't stop him having a shroom trip, and why the Big Chill is the perfect location for a trip, then Star, Kev, Flick and several others retreat for a balloon of Nitrous Oxide inside the DopeTent. Then, if you can handle the ridiculous bass (spologies for the sound quality of this section), then you can join the Dopefiend as he comes up on his first ever MDMA experience joined by FloydHead, Son of Gonzo, Squidgy Sid and Cannaya in the crowd opposite the Castle Stage on the main festival site where they talk in very garbled, drug-addled terms about the beauty of the Dopefiend.co.uk Family and how it's led to an unforgettable introduction to England for Cannaya. Following a crazy night, the Dopefiend reclines in the sunshine by the lake and chats to Jay_K and Flick about their first mushroom experience, Son of Gonzo about his shrooms + MDMA fuelled night which was shared with the Dopefiend himself, then Cannaya, Happydaze777 and Star talk about the incredible events of Saturday night at the Big Chill, and how to adjust back to normality after such a mind-blowing experience. Don't miss a very special show starring Cannaya next week! Download this episode hereAnd check out all our great free shows here

New today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's special Gonzo edition of the Dopecast, the Dopefiend is joined by Dopestock survivor Cannaya in the sunshine of Brighton Beach for a toke of some fine and tasty herb and a rambling chat encompassing the Big Chill, the classic British TV series The Prisoner and the various psychedelic themes explored not only by its plot, but also by the star and creator's decision to eschew fame and fortune in order to create it, graphic artist Dave McKean and his movie Mirrormask, which was filmed in Brighton, all the while beseiged by seagulls, coastal winds, pebbles, and crusty skunk-dealing locals. The pair then hit the emails, starting with the sad story of Tubby the rasta kitten, leading to some chat about Cannaya's cat and whether it ever gets passively stoned, Josiah emails about how Cannabis has helped him live with Crohn's disease is many different ways, leading to more chat about the various ailments that can be remedied by our secret sacrament, Citizen5 raises the subject of employment-related urine tests in the USA, leading to some talk of how common a practice that is, and whether it's possible to trick them, and asks whether it's possible to grow indoors using "SunTubes" instead of lights. Following a politically-themed musical interlude selected by Cannaya, the intrepid weed-smoking pair relocate to the shadow of The Winchester pub in South East London, made famous by the movie Shaun of the Dead, where they talk about the insanity of British weather before returning to the emails with an unusual LSD trip report from Big D, who mixed acid with sleep-aids, leading to some chat from Cannaya about his experience with DXM, followed by a story from DankAvenger who discovered his stick icky was drenched in PCP, which leads to a discussion on PCP and its effects in general, why people would spike Cannabis with PCP in the first place, and DankAvenger's endeavours to follow up on a previous listener's suggestion and create a popcorn-popper vaporizer, which leads to a chat about home-made smoking devices. Finally T-182 emails with a concern that terminally-ill patients receiving magic mushroom therapy may have an uncomfortable experience, leading to the suggestion from the Dopefiend that an uncomfortable experience is almost the point of the exercise, and some talk about low-cost alternatives to the mighty Volcano Vaporizer, and whether a bag vaporizer is best suited to a solo stoner. On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend finally returns to the Dope Den to debrief himself and respond to some criticism about the levels of excess recorded on the Big Chill Dopecast, and answers the charge that combining Cannabis with Mushrooms, MDMA and Nitrous Oxide constitutes substance abuse, how the Big Chill gathering differs from the Dopestock shows, and whether careful sourcing, planning and set and setting adds value to a drug experience. The Dopefiend then heads into the VaporLounge to find entheo-pundit and Psychonautica host Max Freakout inhaling some sweet Jack Flash vapour while talking about the differences between high-grade "skunk" Cannabis and Thai weed before taking a musical interlude. The Dopefiend and Max Freakout return to chat about the Dopefiend's latest mushroom breakfast and why it's so rewarding and refreshing, and what's particularly pleasant about the Philosopher's Stone experience, then the pair talk about Max's recent ayahuasca initiation in Holland, whether it's changed his opinion about the importance of an authentic setting and a true shaman, what makes a true shaman, and what he brings to the experience. They then start talking about the nature of "bad" trips and whether an uncomfortable experience is necessary to gain any sort of value. The Dopefiend then raises the point from the start of this episode about whether excess equals abuse and gets Max's opinion on the subject, and his view of Nitrous Oxide in general, which leads to discussion of how Nitrous influenced William James, with parallels drawn to the opium and hashish schools of art and literature, and eventually leading to the question of whether you need to open your mind to a psychedelic experience before you can enjoy it fully, whether a history of psychedelic journeying enables deeper drug-free meditation, and what exactly IS meditation anyway?
