Hey everyone, basic SCROG question. Is the idea of a SCROG to keep everything under the screen and positioned until one thinks all buds are about the same development and stretch is over? As you position bud sites under holes in the screen, is your goal to have them all the same height above the screen? you got it. Just remember that a plant will double in size when in flowers. I would let them grow about three inches or so into the screen then flower, Depending on the strain. For the first few weeks I would start to pull the branches back out of the hole and twist tie it to the next hole. This makes the branches run under the screen.I always tied down buds to the screen with twist ties. Some people let the buds grow straight up. It depends on what you would like to do, or have the room for. My way creates a blanket of buds. Not tying the buds down will create a bunch of colas. yeah, you gotta be careful! I remember my first few SCROGs were a disaster.. so much wasted money :^(

This is what I'm growing in This is my current light set-up, except one of the 6000's ahas been changed for a lower spectrum as I'm going to be flowering soon This is the inside of my growbox, I now have 5 lights instead of 3 -- photo was taken during germination phases, the box contains moistened paper towels with seeds, the glass contains water with seeds, and the container in the middle contains green-pepper seeds in soil This photo is extremly out-dated. The small plant growing from plastic was destroyed (I had put it into hydro to try and save it, as it's original container had drainage issues) -- yes, one of those is not a cannabis plant, but a red pepper... Can you blame a guy for getting hungry?! I will update with current photos asap; I transplanted to their final containers today, and there is BARELY enough room for them in the growbox at this point. I'll be able to make some more room once I determin sexes -- I will also be attempting either low or high stress training in approximately three days (I want to give them time to recover from being transplanted first) Jan 30th after 21 days of growing; finally transplanted (also in 12/12 lighting for the last few days, I need to sex these guys and hopefully make a little bit of room in my box if any of them turn out to BE guys :[) P.S. Next time I won't use thumbnails either... I keep forgetting photo-sites double store everything and the thumbnail image location is different than the original.
