Hell yeah man, good save! Glad to see at least that one is still rather robust-looking. You might just be in good shape after all. Hell of a way to harden them off, if I do say so myself \:\)

I'd throw a tarp over the straw at night to hold the ground heat in.

No shit Sherlock!! \:o Not used to this. Last night was cold (20 or so). But i never uncovered 'em. Today, they(the ones i looked at) are still alive, but look like they're gettin' REAL tired of this shit. Supposed to be in the 60's-70's manyana and for a few days. I'm gonna uncover and see. Let 'em drink in some o' that good ol' Mr. Sun. Trouble is... guess what,
Yeah, you guessed it! More snow!!! Fri. or so. Ya never know. We'll see. At least i have a bunch of hay to cover 'em with.
Been an unusual spring. \:P

They still LIVE! Uncovered 'em today, and it looks like they ALL made it. Might be a day or 2 (or a week) before they "shake it off", But i am quite pleased. Will post some pics later when they get their legs back under 'em.

Cool deals. We are having a bit of a cold snap here too, and it's probably a good thing I've been slacking because I might also have had some little ones out in it. But I've been worried more about my flower garden and veggie garden and the herb has gotten to chill in the house.

I like frmboi's idea about tarping the straw to retain heat. If you have another spat of snow inbound, and they are still a little tender, a tarp could make all the difference in the world.

GOOD NEWS!! No snow. Looks like we'll FINALLY start warming up around here, now. My babies should be able to take about ANYTHING now. I'll post in a week or so.

OK, Here's where i'm at now. Man! seems like a long time. I've been covering and uncovering for just about as long as i can stand. Last night was a good hard frost. Killed alot of my tomatoes. Seems my girls are still "fighting on". Man, have we had a nasty spring! Anyhow, thought y'all might want to see how the gals are now. They will make it. I think maybe 20 out of 30 are still alive.
