Sorry i havent had any more pictures in a while , been busy with a few things lately. Earl ill have plenty or root pics to add to the root thread, no worries there. lijn i could throw them all out and replace them but that would go against my recycling ethics. It really isnt to much trouble to clean them out. I have a herniated disk in my back and its mainly the leaning over the trays for a long time that kills my back. Washing off fresh hydroton to get the dust off seems like almost just as much work and you can tell from my system i already do a little corner cutting in other areas:)

Dro, your a healthy guy, except for the disc problem. You got bananas, pineapple, blueberries and kiwi along with your home grown herb sitting there.

I had two herniated discs and went through back surgery two years ago. Everything is still working fine, and except for intermittent pains from overworking my back on weekends, I am happy with the results.

But I could still use some of that medicine there to help with some anxiety.

Hey Doc, I have a question for you: What method do you use to remove the roots from your hydroton? I'm just dealing with this from my first batch of plants, and trying to figure out a better way than drying in the oven, crushing them, then rinsing.
