Homemade Fudge & Carmel Stacked

My wife made some homemade fudge then some homemade Carmel so I asked her can you pour that Carmel on top of the Fudge. "OMG" this is so Good. Taste like the Reason candy bar/bites






Easy Fudge

3 cups baking chocolate pieces
1 14oz can (1 1/4 cups) sweetend condensed milk
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Line a 8x8x2" or 9x9x2" baking pan with foil going over the edges. Butter the foil.

2. in a heavy 2 quart saucepan cook and stire the chocolate, and condensed milk over low heat till chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the 1 cup nuts and vanilla mix well.

3. spread fudge evenly in the buttered pan. Cover and chill for 2hrs or until firm. When firm use foil to lift out of pan. Cut and store tighlty cloed for up to 1 wk.

Caramels

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup butter
1 16oz package (2 1/4 cups) packed brown sugar
1 14oz can (1 1/4 cups) sweetend condensed milk.
1 cup corn syrup or pancake syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract




1. Line a 8x8x2" or 9x9x2" baking pan with foil going over the edges. Butter the foil.


2. in a heavy 3 quart saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add brown sugar evaporated milk, and syrup. Mix well. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until it boils. Clip a candy thermometer to side of pan. Reduce heat to medium; continue boiling at moderate, steady rate. Stiring frequently until the thermometer reaches 248* about 15 to 20 mins.

3. remove from heat and remove thermometer. Stir in vanilla. Quickly por mixture in buttered pan. When firm use foil to remove from pan.

cut and store up to 2wks.

i'm sure it looks great. mmm chocoholics! but don't use the flash on the camera next time. that glare doesn't make the desserts look that great!

I was stoned to the bone when I took the pics Bro.We take pics with and without flash, with and without macro on,then sellect the best pics.Those were the best pics.

That Fudge & Carmel was so good I ate the whole batch in 2 days. This AK-48 has me couch locked and forgetting things these days.
