Well I guess when they first built them they were supposed to "take over"...the growing industry,and really expected to be able to lower the high 3500 price...
Most people that had them and didnt like it complain about this or that,but in reality people dont want to take the time to learn to grow SOG or hydro for that matter...("its too diffictult")..buncha sissies..

The Coli has a high demand for clones at 300 clones per 2k or so watts..is ALOT!
and with the coli's high price at 3500 a pc..
kinda difficult for 50(for example) light grow ops to convert or be able sustain the amount of clones that it would take to keep a monster like that going...
to top it off most people grow for "weight" and usually that involves big plants... stretching too much or being overgrown is an enemy growin vertically...So people get discouraged using same nutrient schedules that have worked in the past...

even for vegatative stage...using GH nutes...IT WORKS!!

That sucks. I was thinking about getting one to start a hydro herb garden (culinary herbs, really.) It looks to have really good potential in a commercial environment.

Yeah, to have enough mothers to cut 300 clones would require as much square footage of a mother and veg room, as would be required for the coli itself. Certainly not a setup for someone expecting a hands-off type of grow, but if someone wanted to put the time and effort into it you could probably pull a lot of weight out of it.

GB, are these HP'S from seed? all the ones i've seen from avaiavle breeders online do not get this purple hue to them...Do you know what breeder these are from?

Old Vancouver clone only. I've grown 3 or 4 different "Hashplant" varieties. All looked completely different. Mine only purple up when I let them get down to around 60 F in the dark , at the end.
