First , I must commend you on your powers of observation and deduction (pun intended).
Some pictures may have been from my previous ducting configuration , so I'll be describing what I have now , as in the latest pictures.
Yes , the 4" dryer ducting leads in from my Veg triad (mom/veg/clone). 8" ducts also lead from the top center of each bloom room and combine with the 4" , then steps up to 10" before entering the CanMax fan. From there , it runs into the CAN filter (with an odor sock inside of it for good measure), which is sealed inside of that plywood box. The air comes out of the filter , and into the filter box , then out the end , into my outvent . The outvent is my original , and somewhat limiting. I will have to rework it before next summer , as it is an 8" Y to two 6" ducts , which exits through the roof of that attic , through 6" flappered kitchen/bathroom roof vents. The 2 6" roof vents are the limiting factor in the whole air circuit , and I would like to find some 8" ones , or hook up to the extra 6" that I installed when I roofed the building. Winter is fine , as I am already needing to pre heat the air , in my work area , before it enters the grow rooms , but this summer got a bit hot for a few weeks , and stressed my plants a bit too much.
Air is drawn passively , into the work area , through a 10" duct in the floor , and various cracks , and leaks in the building. Each bloom room has 2 6" inducts , which can draw air from any height in the work area , which allows me to fine tune the air temperature in each room , along with an oil filled radiator space heater. The veg room has a single 4' in.
Hope that covers it all , and , thanks for the props , BTW . :-)

Is that one inline fan pictured the only one? How many cfm's is that fan? All the rooms share the same air from your work area correct? The actual seperate grow spaces, are they each sealed or just contained in the whole room.
Man you have literally single handedly convinced me to build my very own vert room. I have the room to build almost an exact identical of your room (only one flowering). I only have one problem the height of my room is about 7'10" so I don't have the extra space above the room as you do. Also I'm planning on running the exhaust from the carbon filter through my current heat ducting system. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't be a good idea. It may take some time but I think it will be fully worth it.

Hi all... Ive been following this post but never really got invloved in any discussions... FIrst, i have to say that this is an amazing thread and congrats to GB. Second, I would like to convert my room into a vertical room and drew up plans to build the shelves. But then i came across this system called GROWALL. Here is the link below: http://www.qualiplast.com/hydrosystem/index_a.htmI would just like everyone to check this out as this is a pretty neat system for walls. Im going to calculate the cost of the GROWALLS compared to shelves + labour. Anyways hope this gives new ideas.

Yeah , those look good , but I would need between 22 and 30 units to make one room , so the cost would be a factor. Any idea what they want for 1?
I still like to be able to have the plants in peat , for the forgiving nature of that medium. That , and pots , to take down for special tending , or shuffling around , to best make use of my space.
For someone who is already into hydro growing , with less time, and more money to spend , it could make for an impressive setup!

very impressed w/ your grow GB. I have been out of the game a long time .Now i have the space and the cash to drop on a vert. system. Looking at the coliseum. Would it compare to your amazing yields, depending of course on light, nutes, medium,care,etc.etc.
