This area of the forums was created to address the very real issue of problems that some people have with certain drug use.

For some, the problem may be anxiety from smoking cannabis. For others, it may be an addiction to perscription pills. Others still may have questions about what marijuana smoking will do to them in combination with other lifestyle choices or perscriptions.

 Quote:
This is NOT for people asking about bong use, vaporizer information, strains of marijuana, how to roll joints, or growing problems. We have other areas for that. Try the Socializing Lounge if you're not sure where to post!

I want everyone here to pay particular respect to the users who post here with questions and concerns. If someone has trouble when they use drugs, or marijuana -- and it is possible, especially for young people -- they should feel free to post here without fear of being called names, or told they are wrong or stupid, or treated like a "traitor" to the cannabis culture.

Understand this: Many people love cannabis wholeheartedly, but still have problems when they use it, such as anxiety, depression, paranoia, or nightmares. These problems do not affect everyone, as different substances have various effects on every person. But sometimes a cannabis smoker might have to admit that they should no longer use cannabis for a while, and that's okay -- that's having respect for the plant, the herb, and its various characteristics. You should always, always do what's best for your body and mind, and that is part of what cannabis is about. Whether you smoke the buds or eat the hemp seeds!

So welcome to this area, and I look forward to input, especially from health professionals who can offer an unbiased assesment of a user's personal problems. We want to offer a safe and comfortable place for discussion about these important topics and concerns. It is important to remember that everyone reacts differently to marijuana, drugs, and other substances, and you should respect your body when it doesn't respond well to whatever you're consuming. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well said Jodie. Thats what I dont get about people its not a contest its all about personal responsibility. And no one should get shit for seeking information or expressining there opinion that cannabis or anything else of the sort is not appropriate at any given time for them. Peer pressure is a bitch dont let it dictate who you are if we did we would all be striaght collared like they want us to be.

Thank you, Mrs. Emery. I've already experienced some foul language and name calling when I asked a question in the Shout Box (I thought I wanted a quick answer, but I won't be doing that again!). I just post my questions now in the proper forum and usually get a nice answer(s). I'm a VERY new user to marijuana and I still want to learn a lot more. This is a wonderful website!
