yea man ,were you are and are going plays a big factor ,and any one advocating bringing small ammounts home are usually not returning stateside as it seems just looking like you have something to hide can get you hauled in and probed over there. its really not that bad in europe ,im not sure if thats a good or bad thing! im not 100% sure on the dates or places ,but a british journalist smuggled a deactivated homemade bomb onto a plane to prove how innefficent airport security is ,this test has been carried out in the states too and some other places the results were scary...but i cant remember the exact details so im just throwing in some food for thought ,the airports security measures are not all there cracked up to be.

growing your own is the best option!! i think we can all agree on that. get some seeds from a seed bank and wahayyy!!

are seeds legal in canada or the states ,because in ireland you can sell and have as many cannabis seeds you want ,its only illegal to germinate them.

well, went out had a great time, met up with a mate i hadnt seen in a some time, we hit the coffeshops, the bars, couple of decent clubs, got love those dutch girls.

anyway as far as weed goes, nothing much to worth bringing home. because its a 5 gram limit the prices dont go down the more your order per-say, any discount you gota work out in words and i didnt much feel like haggling.

the top strains grown by top growers tend to be about 15/16 euros a gram and maybe 60 euros for 5 grams, but do i want to spend 250 pounds an ounce for the really really good stuff, maybe if i knew id get it back home, so just left that

if you go to a good priced coffeshop youd pay 9-13 for the good stuff (comparable with bm's aaaa) PER GRAM, or like 20 euro's is 1.7 gram, or maybe a 5 gram deal for 40-60 euros

there were a few places i saw some good white widow for 5 euros a gram which is about 110 pounds an ounce, and maybe if i spent a couple hundred euros i could bring it down to 90 pounds an ounce

so that was the weed so i only brought home about 5 grams of this amazing nyc diesel i got for 30 euros

but the hashes were good, they tend to really vary in price, but mostly the same as the weed prices, you get good hash and bad,

i got lots of good hash, buying an ounce of hash is very expensive if you are not buying soap bar

anyway, there wasnt much worry about smuggling since i knew i wasnt going to have to bring back like 10 ounces

so i stuck the 35 grams of hash and 5 grams of skunk in my bag and checked it in, absolutly no problems, arrived back at the uk, not even a customs agent in sight from when i picked my bag off the conveyor belt and went through the 25 ft corridor to the exit lounge and as i have travelled the same route over 30-40 tiems and never seena searching agent or tables to get searched or anything mroe than a guy sat at a screen just before you go out into the terminal with all the greaters, so to sum up security

check in bag, passport control, then searched and carry on xrayed, i got the metal detector go off and was searched, not as thorough body search as i though, i was hasked to take my shoes off and put them throuhg the x-ray, hand search didnt go near my bollocks. also i was pulled to the side and my carry on searched and cloth tested for whatever. all fine, then to gate and onto plane
airport security from amd-uk, arrive at airport, check in bag, pp control, go into main terminal, before i go to my small group of gate we are searched, bag x-rayed but not searched (no ganja in it though) i set off the metal detector, the hand search was thorough, they made me take off my belt but not my shoes though, they went all the way up my legs and even fingers went round my boxer shorts band. got back to uk, something i note, we saw our bags being put onto trolly cart stacked really high and wide, 5 mins later we were at our conveyor belt and the cart was there unloading out bags (i could see through the flaps,so unless something happend in those 5 mins our bags were never checked

i guess if they did detect my weed they didnt care

as for passport control, i dont even have a stamp in my passport from any of the trip

I have managed it a couple of times, just brought it back in hand luggage. the chance of a conviction has to be very small for UK citizens, as long as its a fairly small amount. I dont think Ill bother next time though....theres always a risk, anyway now Ive got BM!

what about taking the train? i might be paris in a few months and wanted to go to amsterdam mid-way there and return with some. From what i gather, this is pretty impossible, but if I was in rotterdam and crossed into belgium and took a train from there, would it seem pretty safe?

I'll be DRIVING from Amsterdam to Paris soon. I would like to bring some gifts with me.

Anyone got any suggestions to help make this successful? I'll be trying to take 3g of greenary...my leading contender right now is to shove it up my ass in triple condom protection. Just had a prostate exam, and it can't be worse than that was. I'll be in a very nice new car, accompanied by 2 friends (not gonna tell them, so they won't feel nervous in the event of a random border check), clean shaven, luggage in the back, 5 hour drive.

As for just sealing it up and hiding it somewhere else....I've seen a lot of info on vacuum seal bags, but I don't know exactly what or how to use them..or where to find them (besides some vacuum seal machine from Amazon or some shit). Surely there's some do-it-yourself solutions.

FYI..I've transported 4-5 grams of weed on airplanes both pre and post 9/11 (hidden in baggage, taped to my crotch, etc) with no problems. Not smart and wouldn't do it again...but I do understand the severity of the consequences associated. I say this to underscore the fact that I'm looking for INTELLIGENT ADVISE on DRIVING a very small piece of green across the NL/BE/FR border.

Driving within the EU should be pretty safe, and the measures you mention perhaps more extreme than is really necessary. If you look like a fairly straight laced adult and drive a decent car, there's an added invisibility bonus. Conspicuous consumption (display of duty free bags) is always a good thing, anything that signals you're an upstanding member of society.

anybody seen DOGS on the french/belgium border? I'm leaning towards each of us in the car just holding 3g of herb with a gatorade nearby, ready to gulp it down if pulled over. If I knew more about their use of dogs, I might be willing to just try to hide it.
