Origin of the species was written by someone else, so picking it up and reading it, isnt exactly an act of learning independantly is it?
wow you were almost onto something there...but by learning independently i meant, going to the bookstore, and instead of buying a fiction book, go into the physics section, or science, and choose independently to learn something new.
I know what you meant skitz, just messin with ya

The heathen have no desire to search.
You are saying that no one that doesn't follow the Islamic/Judeo-Christian God has a desire to learn and better themselves? More than a few HEATHEN people might disagree with you on this. Asia and Africa come to mind.

The second book of john would tell you to not let them in your house.
John, Paul, George and Matthew were all written a minimum of 50 years after the death of the carpenter. Where did I get that? Books of the New Testament
"The Gospel of John:
The early church father, Irenaeus, recorded the church tradition that this gospel was written by John, son of Zebedee. Others claimed that the author was an Elder John from Ephesus. Still others, attributed it to John, the "beloved disciple." Throughout most of the history of the church, the Gospel of John was believed to have been written by Jesus' disciple. Most liberal scholars today believe that it was written by a group of authors. 6,7,10,19 There is speculation that much of the gospel was written by a single, unknown writer, and that a second, later individual reworked the text in order to make it conform to contemporary church teaching. "John" contains a great deal of anti-Jewish sentiment. It holds the Jews and their descendants responsible for the execution of Jesus. It has largely responsible for inspiring Christians to violent anti-Semitic acts in the centuries since it was written.
Because of its theological principles and the emphasis on Jesus as the Son of God, it rapidly became the favorite gospel. It has remained the favorite today, particularly among conservative Christians. It was probably written between 85 and 100 CE, after believers in Jesus were expelled from Jewish synagogues. Chapter 20 appears to be the original ending of the gospel. Chapter 21 describes the miraculous catch of fish, and the reinstatement of Peter, appears to be a later addition."

They are demons that lurk and search only to deploy the works of coruption and vanity .They weigh heavy on pride and have no balance wisdom.
Pride is a good thing. Every single one of the 7 deadly sins is a good thing. Coruption, entropy, its inevitable. Wisdom is subjective and situational.

They live in a heep and loath selfvishly in lust of all earthly tangeable things.
I have a house, not a heep (or a heap) ...the second part doesn't make much sense but thats what I have come to expect. I assume you mean lusting after the material things in life? oh hell yea.

Jesus Loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so, and it also tells me that, pot? Yeah, He's o.k. with that!
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so!
"Onwards Christian Soldiers, Onwards Buddhist Priests. Onward, Fruits of Islam, Fight till you're deceased. Fight your little battles. Join in thickest fray; For the Greater Glory, of Dis-cord-i-a. Yah, yah, yah, Yah, yah, yah, yah. Blfffffffffffft!" --An Erisian Hymn by Rev. Dr. Mungojerry Grindlebone, KOB Episkopos, THE RAYVILLE APPLE PANTHERS
It sounds like you'd rather pretend the bible is the amazing thing when it's really your brain; without a sufficiently complex brain, the bible is just a bunch of paper and ink!
Also, to compete with your obscurantist style, I've decided to start including Bob Dylan lyrics in responses to you.
