First try , was 50 plants , but they were too crowded , so this time it's 42. Still a bit too tight , so next run will prob'ly be 38. 2000w lighting , and another 1,000-2,000 for fans , dehumidifier , and heaters.

I'll try to get a pic in a week , when I finally trim all that fucking weed , of the bare room , and the shelving details.

4.25 off of 2K of light is very commendable, hats off to ya.

That is pretty cool what you got going there.
A buddy of mine grew one plant sideways.
He got like 3&1/2 lbs off of it, grown under one 600 watt system.

thats a very nice set up gb! Video man....how did your buddy manage growin a girl sideways....sounds like a good idea. A lot cheaper than that kick ass stadium set up.

How are you ventilating? How many plants do you grow in your room? What's your veg room like?

OK , as requested , here are a few pictures , to show details of the shelf construction. The shelves are 12" wide , with 9" high sides . The 3/8" plywood is screwed together with 1"x1" wood , that is cut down from 1x2 , which is actually 1 1/2"x3/4" . The lip of the shelf sides is reinforced with 1x2 . All seams are sealed , then they are painted with Melamine Enamel paint.

These pics include the plants which are finishing their vegging , about a week to go 'till I flip to 12/12 . The first crop yeilded 4lb 4oz , the second crop (pictured in the beginning of this thread one day before harvest , yeilded 5lb 2oz . The sister room , which I have no pictures of , just came down , and yeilded 5lb 8oz !!! All from 2 bare 1000 watt HPS bulbs.

I'm not trying to boast here , just thinking , for Kyoto , your wallet , your Power consumption , your limited space that you can get away with hiding , everyone should be growing this way. Not necisarrily on the same scale . One could use any size bulbs . My 3'8"x3'8" veg/mom/ has a 175 watt MH , and a 125 watt Envirolight .
