Congratulations 'wanabevo'! I am so glad that you have your license in WA! I knew for the past few years that Crohn's was right next to AIDS as a waisting disease in WA's eyes. Please continue to post your experiences here, I appreciate all input and potty stories! I carry baby wipes with me at all times and have a case in my closet. If only we had those French 'bedaas'(spelling incorrect) , extra toilet with faucet to clean ass, hehe. Lots of love and soul!

the word you wanted was bidet (pronounced be-day). It would be nice to have one !

Need to find organic wipes. I react to baby wipes grrrrrr proplylene glycol.

Any suggestions for a blam to calm the fire. All topical parmacuticals have been tried most making the condition worse.

Have the same 'rash' under both arms too.

Am trying a hemp bite balm and it is helping a bit.

Baby wipes, and a lot of TP stuffed into my boots & socks kept me out of trouble way too many times. My nickname when I was in the service was "shitz" as my guys would see me running full speed out to the crappers (or whatever else was handy), and when I would get out, they would have drawn slash marks to show how many times I had gone. I guess it kept them entertained while in some bad places, and in hindsight (no pun intended), I guess it would have been funny to me too.

Hang in there wanabevo!

Peace and pass the TP...

Just curious, have you tried ihle's paste? It's the stuff your mother probably used on you as a child.

Works for me!

Remember that little blue tin of white diaper rash creme, Penetin(I think) , works for me, takes away the burning ring of fire, haha!

Can anyone explain the difference between ulcerative colitis and Chron's? I've heard that tobacco actually helps with ulcerative colitis. http://www.data-yard.net/22/ncbi.htm. http://www.forces.org/evidence/hamilton/other/nicotine.htm
Does anyone know if cannabis is effective for both of these diseases and how it benefits them?

the truth about tobacco http://www.thetruth.com. And it's not the radioactive fertilizers. Organic tobacco is not safe and actually probably more dangerous.

my boyfriend has crohn's and has been having a hell of a time with getting proper treatment, and a good doctor. he was diagnosed 5 years ago he was 180 lbs now hes maybe 140 lbs. I'm feeding him pot goodies and it seems to help him a lot. the special diet for crohn's that he needs can get expensive too. the ensure alone is almost $150 a month, he needs 3 a day.. then he has to eat mostly organic whole foods, no msg, and beef. i was a vegan before, and have always food allergies, so making a special diet isn't new to me, its just getting a handle on his specific needs that might be hard. im not a nutritionist, or a specialist. i wish i knew more, and could help. Ive been studying online whatever i can find on the subject. feeling helpless when its some one you love who's suffering and sick isn't fun. I'm trying to figure out how to put weight on him. it is my main concern, he's 6'3 and 140 lbs is not a healthy weight.. he lost 5 pounds like 3 weeks ago when he had a bad flare up.then since ive been ill hes been getting stressed and that can make him feel way worse. pot really dose help, he eats a little more and his stomach isn't as sore. anyway we have printed out the form a for mmrc for him, were going to try to find a good doctor who will fill out his forms and then its just a waiting game..

I am not afflicted with Crohn's disease, thank God.

However I can relate to certain problems you all have,as my disability causes me bowel problems, similar but undoubtably not as intense as yours.
My G.I. series are clean, but the problems persist.

Hope some of my comments may help.
