My friend puked on my bong tonight What's a safe chemical to use to sanitize it? Would bleach be good if I rinse it enough and let it dry enough?

Oho! A gross story! You can even use soap and water, and yes, bleach will also work to sterilize. But this stuff doesn't work so well on cleaning the bong residue, just cleaning up the other mess!

Nail Polish remover aka Acetone, Rinse very well, (repeat if needed), Air out for a day then rinse right before first use.

Works the best makes anything look brand new.

That or if its well blown glass like my two main pipes I use I just boil them in water res comes out.

I had to laugh when I read that, I have had friends pass out while taking bong hits and fall over so its not a stretch to imagine someone barfing into a bong.

Just bleach it, do a quick clean with hot water, might as well do an ISO clean and then dilute some bleach and water and fill it to the top, put it somewhere overnight and then dump it out, put it somewhere with a warm breeze for another night to make sure all the bleach evaporates

If your sure this guy has a cold or just dont trust his health I have to wonder why you let him hit the bong but a simple hot water and maybe ISO clean should be more then enough

I found that wiping down glass it's best to use coffee filters because they don't leave streaks. That was a tip from a dishwasher at a resteraunt.

Has anyone used Johnson and Williams windows cleaner (its iso alc based) to clean their bongs or pipes? I'm pretty interested on your thoughts on that one! Since I'd pay 10 pesos for a litre of that and 130 pesos for the litre of raw iso alc.

Haven't heard of Johnson and Williams. But your paying the equivalent of $11.50 for a quart of isopropyl. Is that 99%?

Yep it's really expensive for only a litre and yeah its 99%, I think at least the label says it's toxic and that's something the william and johnssons doesnt say plus its 946mml for only 11pesos 1 buck, I think I'll try it out today... and just a little more water to rinse it afterwards.
