When I clean my pipe, I sometimes do it at work, in the dishwashaing station, I spray out the bowl with hot as fuck water, and I just take a rag and wipe all the resin out, then I fill up the inside of the pipe with hot water and shake it and empty it, I do that a few times, and get all the crap from the inside out. And sometimes I soak it in bleachy or vinnigar water, and then repeat the filling and draining step, and it gets even more crap out, then I run it through the dishwasher to sanitize it, and I let it air out to dry, so the bleach evaporates, cause you don't want to be smoking bleach.

wow this is gonna sound preaty crude i guess I use this stuff called goof off which is a latex paint, glue, gum, and ink remover. It melts resin off on contact preaty much shake it a bit and its all gone. Then use the dishwasher to get away the headachey fumes. The coolest thing ever is to put your resin cleaning solution in the pipe and put it in a cup full of water. The resin floating up from the cup looks like smoke.

I use iso for most everything because it does its job so well. I usually just get a big bucket, like a 10 gallon one and let the pieces sit in it, then shake them around a little and then take them out and rinse them in hot water. Gets out most everything, and then use a long brush to get whatever is left. though, mouthwash is a favorite after iso for hand pieces. Makes em smell great
