New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network:

On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about how excited he is for the forthcoming DopeStock celebrations, and how the Dutch government are planning to put an end to celebrations of freedom such as DopeStock in the city of Amsterdam, as they attempt to ban tourists from using coffeeshops and buying cannabis legally. The Dopefiend also talks about how one of the city's best loved coffeeshops, the Rokerij, has been closed by police following the arrest of the shop's owner. Turning to the emails, the Dopefiend reads a message of congratulations at his enduring career from Ned Fletcher, then turns to an email from Charlie, who believes moving to California will cure him of his cynical outlook and inability to communicate, leading the Dopefiend to talk about how drug experiences can't solve all of life's issues, and how sometimes sobriety is what the doctor ordered. Next, the Dopefiend welcomes special guests KMO, host of the C-Realm Podcast, and Lorenzo, host of the Psychedelic Salon, onto the show to talk about how the Dopefiend.co.uk network's psychedelc output is about to increase, and how and why KMO is involved. Next, the Dopefiend fires up his Plenty vaporizer, repeats last week's ceremony, and vaporizes some tasty Blue Mystic while talking about the value he found in this year's DopeFast, before a musical interlude from the Time Travelling Toaster. Returning to the emails, the Dopefiend talks about how a creative outlook gained from use of cannabis and psychedelics can lead to productivity and greater understanding, before we hear from Samwise about his use of mugwort with his WISPR vaporizer, and about life in Perth. Finally, Cannaya brings this week's Cannabis News, including the latest from the front line of the War on Drugs, Mexico, and news of tech blogger Xeni Jardin's embracement of medical cannabis following her breast cancer diagnosis.

New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network:

On ths week's epsiode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about the recent federal raids on California's Oaksterdam University, the hub of the state's legalization movement which the Feds are working overtime to shut down, and compares the US War on Drugs, which keeps Mexican cartels in power, to the situation in the Netherlands which keeps illegal supply gangs in power. Turning to the emails, the Dopefiend talks about the Australian legalization scene, before reading an incredible story of a harrowing shroom experience sent in by Prince Jellyfish. Next, the Dopefiend talks about how he has adapted his cannabis ceremony and how the recent gift of a Tibetan Singing Bowl by DopeTriber SAGE has enhanced it, before actually performing the ceremony and demonstrating the bowl, with the aid of some incredible squidgy hash which slips down a treat thanks to the surprisingly successful new portable hash vaporizer the ThermoVape Revolution. Finally, following a musical interlude from prize-draw winner Loudscape, Homer the Stoner presents another crop of Cannabis News stories, including: Judge Goldsack and the amputee jailed for growing his own medicine, London's latest canna-stats, and more on the topsy turvy world of Peter Reynolds and CLEAR.

New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network:

On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend presents his long awaited review of the rechargeable portable Arizer Solo vaporizer, which has long been a favourite of some dopetribers despite early models suffering from technical faults. First, the Dopefiend unboxes and charges up the Solo, describes the features and why the early models with ceramic herb chamber were replaced, and fires it up to test it out with some tasty freshly cured bud. While sampling the fresh, cool flavour of the hits from the Solo, the Dopefiend looks into the auto-off feature and the different temperature settings. Next, the Dopefiend brings Son of Gonzo in on the testing of the Solo and the pair of them discuss how portable the unit is, and whether it's stealthy enough for on-the-move vaping, before loading it up and sampling the cool, fresh vapour the Solo produces while remarking on the lack of throat irritation caused by the Solo in comparison with the Volcano, leading to a discussion about where the Volcano and the Solo stand in the modern vaporizer marketplace. Next, the Dopefiend, Son of Gonzo, MildlyAmusedUK and Orson from the London Cannabis Club all hit Panorama Park in the sunshine to test out the Arizer Solo's outdoors capabilities and also to compare it with the WISPR portable vaporizer and the Plenty vaporizer. The DopeTribers in attendance talk about how to load the Solo, how its flavour compares with other portable vaporizer, how battery power compares to butane power and the danger of breaking the glass mouthpiece. Next, the Dopefiend returns to an indoor setting to talk about where exactly the Solo sits in the wide range of portable and home vaporizer units, and how it seems to straddle both categories. The Dopefiend also talks about the pros and cons of the incredibly simple glass mouthpiece and gives his overall impressions, before a Curtis Mayfield-inspred musical interlude from Hophead. Next the Dopefiend takes the Arizer Solo out on public transport, seeing how easy it is to use stealthily on trains and buses, and talking about how the technological advances of recent years have totally revolutionized his cannabis use habits, before finally testing it with some squidgy black hash and giving his final verdict on this exciting new addition to his vaporizer toolkit. Don't miss the first of our incredible LIVE Dopecasts from this year's DopeStock festivities in Amsterdam next week!

New today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network:

On the first of our incredible episodes of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast LIVE from Amsterdam, the Dopefiend welcomes the DopeTribe to the capital city of cannabis by inviting them on board the famous cannabis canal cruise, an exclusive experience on a privately-chartered luxury vessel through the canals of Amsterdam, billowing thick smoke clouds as she goes! First, the Dopefiend is accosted by Delta-9 Labs' Ed Borg who gets the party started by thrusting a water pipe loaded with a knockout combination of Brainstorm Haze budder, Simpson Kush dry-sieve and bubblehash, which almost brings an end to the Dopecast immediately by stripping the lining from the Dopefiend's vocal chords! Thankfully the Dopefiend is able to fight through the pain and the coughs and talk to Scoobysnakks, SGawain and long-time Dopecast contributor Christine about how their Dopestock experience is going so far before talking to Christine about how the scene in Amsterdam compares to the medical marijuana movement in her native Oregon, and getting her thoughts on the proposed ban on cannabis tourism in the Netherlands, due to come into being later this year. Next, the Dopefiend heads over to Komrade Komura who is also suffering from the effects of Ed Borg's monster salad, and who talks about how Amsterdam has changed since he was last here, and why he's stayed away from psychedelics for so long. Next, the Dopefiend heads over to talk to DopeTribe newcomer Eyeway, who talks about the experience of being part of a huge DopeTribe army in Amsterdam, and to Hazy Jay, who made it a personal mission to make it to Dopestock when he heard that this year's was likely to be the last, and then Scoobysnakks talks about the incredible Dopestock pre-party at the Greenhouse Lounge, which brought many DopeTribers together for the first time, before Kush King tells the story of how he almost missed the canal cruise, and how he's been filming many episodes for his video podcast Rollin' with Kush King. Next, the Dopefiend talks to Puurke about his first Dopestock experience, whether the 4/20 protest will have any effect on the government's plans, and what the legal status of cannabis is in his native Belgium. Next, the Dopefiend passes DopeTribe mainstays Pothead from Pothead's Coffeeshop and SGawain before sitting down next to BB who is also podcasting live from the Canal Cruise, and who is thoroughly enjoying trying out Pecos the Cat's Arizer Solo packed with fresh fruity Cannasutra from Delta-9 Labs. The two cannabis podcasting greats discuss how Amsterdam and the DopeTribe have both grown since the last time they were together, whether BB's Bungalow or the Dopecast will ever come to an end, and what form that end will eventually take. Heading inside the boat, the Dopefiend bumps into Ed Borg who is still administering monster hits from his bubbler to any DopeTriber willing to take a hit, and who also talks about the last year's developments at Delta-9 Labs, whether cannabis tourism will ever be banned in Amsterdam, and how Ed plans to get around it, and his experience of the police raid on last year's High Times Cannabis Cup. The Dopefiend turns to Dex420 who managed to snag a last minute space on the Cannabis Canal Cruise, before sidling up to Swedish DopeTribers Bagler, ZyBear and Sanka, who all talk about the situaton in Sweden regarding cannabis law. Next the Dopefiend talks to the Green Lady who is concerned about police action at the 4/20 smokeout, before talking to Japanese DopeTriber Hopot, who made his Dopestock Debut last year, about being back in Amsterdam, and also chatting to Scottobaggins about the gourmet strains that he's been sampling while in Amsterdam, briefly interrupted by a strange psychedelic tunnel experience featuring TeenagePie. Next the Dopefiend talks to Scragtag about his first day in Amsterdam this year, before Esse B rocks up in a state of extreme stoneage. Next, the Dopefiend talks to recent DopeTribe recruit Weeshug about his time with the DopeTribe and how the tolerance to cannabis use in Amsterdam has been changing in the years since he first came to Amsterdam, before turning to J. Dank, Dr Dank, Oleg and Davelisterscrak who are collaborating on a monster joint. J. Dank tells what life is like as an American stoner living in Moscow, and Dr Dank gives his view, as a resident of Germany, on the proposed ban on cannabis tourism in Amsterdam. Next the Dopefiend turns to a croaky Glastomongrel, who is struggling to keep his voice in the face of such extreme stoneage, before heading over to printer pioneer Tim Prince who tells how he has become fully enmeshed in the DopeTribe over the last year, and of his plans for the 4/20 protest. Next, Mrs. Mole talks about her DopeStock experience, and explains how she is being challenged to come up with more than eighteen uses for an elastic band, Nexus from Shroom with a View gives his thoughts about the proposed ban on cannabis tourism, and Dopestock veteran Jay K tells why he feels Amsterdam is cleaner and friendlier than before, and gives his vote for the Green Place's Pineapple Kush as an early favourite for the DopeStock Cup. A shock announcement that Mrs Mole has discovered a ninth use for an elastic band brings the Dopefiend back towards Mrs Mole, and leads him to seek TeenagePie's feelings about this DopeStock being the last, and the absence of the Gremlin of Ganja. While on the subject of absent friends, the Dopefiend turns to Esse B who is signing a card for IoliteKnight who sadly couldn't make it either, and who talks about the intensity of Ed Borg's oil. Finally the Dopefiend chats to Pecos the Cat, thclee, Nez and Taozer who are all making return visits to Amsterdam for Dopestock, and who are extolling the virtues of renting their own apartment with a group of fellow tribers.

New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network:

On this week's third of four stunning episodes of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast LIVE from the astonishing huge gathering of international stoners at the sixth and final Dopestock in Amsterdam, we join the Dopefiend and the DopeTribe as they take to the streets of the Capital City of Cannabis for the 4/20 smokeout in protest of the proposed government ban on cannabis tourism. The Dopefiend winds through the crowd of around a hundred cannabis users and talks to Pothead and Kush King about how the day has gone so far, before chatting to Max Freakout, Smoke Jaguar and Infinity25 about whether activism and protests such as the one the DopeTribe are fast approaching actually have any effect, whether it's too much of an intimidating assault on the senses of those whose minds we want to change, or whether minds are actually being changed. Heading back through the crowds, the Dopefiend comes across Mrs. Ann and talks to her about her experience of the last three Dopestocks, and her feelings around the last one, before the DopeTribe arrive at the site of the 4/20 smokeout, where the Dopefiend encounters activist and international cannabis entrepreneur Nol Van Shaik. The Dopefiend talks to Nol about the Dutch government's plans to ban foreign tourists from cannabis coffeeshops, whether the ultimate aim of government forces is indeed to close coffeeshops altogether, how the Dutch scene compares to the increasingly liberal cannabis scene in Spain and the Czech Republic, where Nol is also active, his thoughts about the bickering in the British legalisation movement, and why a political approach is being superceded by a more popular grassroots type of approach the world over. Next, the Dopefiend talks to DopeTribers Christine and Travis House as they prepare their smoking and vaporizing equipment in time for 4:20 about the scene before them, then turns to ProfessorVape and MellowCulero as Tim Prince is interviewed by Dutch TV cameras. Next, Scoobysnakks appears and describes the scene, and Max Freakout explains why he was so happy to see Nol van Shaik at the demonstration, before DannyGreenFingers explains why he's proud to see such a good turnout of both foreigners and natives. The Dopefiend turns to Komrade Komura who gives his thoughts on the occasion and fires up his ThermoVape in time for the big 4:20 countdown, before talking about whether he thinks the demonstration will have any tangible effects, and also giving his thoughts on the situation regarding CLEAR and Peter Reynolds in the UK legalisation movement, the recently announced drug-related sentencing guidelines for UK courts, and whether President Obama's second term will be any better for cannabis users than his first term has been. Turning to Kush King, who is busy filming episodes of Rollin with Kush King, the Dopefiend talks about the free reefers being passed around the crowd and fires up his WISPR vaporizer before talking to the Quayle's Egg about hardcore vaping in the streets of Amsterdam and the ThermoVape vaporizer. Next we hear some of the varied sounds of the 4/20 smokeout, including some live music and frenzied chanting, before a ginger bearded rapper performs, and the Dopefiend talks to Scoobysnakks and TeenagePie about how the 4/20 smokeout has gone and what plans are afoot for the rest of the day as the protest begins to wind up and the DopeTribe prepare for the climax to an incredible Dopestock, coming on next week's Dopecast live from the Dopestock evening session in the Dolphins Coffeeshop.
