Quite right Dan.

Just a reminder, We will be out in Regina in full force come Wednesday (that's tomorrow) the 29th. We will be canvassing the university, people on the street and there are currently petitions located at Vintage Vinyl in Regina. Additionally, more petitions will find a home at Head to Head on 2329 Dewdney Ave. Open from 11-7 during the week.

The past couple of days have seen 125 signatures collected and we are gathering steam. Let's get moving! This is and will continue to be a fantastic week and the weather has been beautiful along with the roads.

Cheers

Well boy do my feet hurt and damn are my legs beat and hell if I'm not going to develop a hernia trying to get out of bed at all of 5:00AM tomorrow morning. Yah yah I know, I'm sure some of you get up as the sun is going down but hell, I usually work late.

Signature collection has been going very well and I want to express a particularly appreciative thank you to Mitch Tarala, our current party treasurer, for coming out to Prince Albert with me yesterday and helping me to canvass Saskatoon's downtown core and Broadway area today. He has devoted both of his days off this week to be able to do just that. Spending hours walking around in any weather is not always fun but Mitch is dedicated to the cause and it's grand to have him and so many others like him involved and interested.

This past Saturday saw 60 signatures collected while Sunday was a day of "rest" as I can't neglect my family. Monday saw us collect another 65 signatures in Prince Albert and today saw a whopping 200 and some odd signatures collected between Mitch T. and myself in the Saskatoon area. This has made for a grand total of 320+ signatures collected over a period of three days with the Regina trip still to come tomorrow. Our goal of 750 more signatures collected is certainly attainable and possible to surpass.

Thanks so very much to everyone who has helped thus far and continues to do so. We can always use more help though and our Regina trip tomorrow is perhaps the most important day for us in the next few weeks. I you have not yet gotten in touch with us to see how you can help, please feel free to call me any time ((306) 260-2952) or email me (ethane@saskmp.ca) or private message me here. If you know anyone who may be interested in helping us, pass along my contact info and I will be able to get back to you ro them straight away.

Cheers

Praise from a beautiful woman is always welcome Jodie.

It's also worth noting that other things are abuzz in Saskatchewan as well. Recently, a member of he SKMP executive has successfully (and independently) produced a news letter entitled "The Leaf" which has been distributed in local cannabis friendly locations. The June 15th edition will feature a Marc Emery interview.

The manner in which it has been produced is simply amazing in terms of how well it was done. The newsletter has a great look and is incredibly informative and entertaining. Special kudos goes out to Moe Brondum for that. Along with his letters to the editor, Moe is helping to effect change in Saskatchewan and is adding a very unique and valuable flair to the whole shebang.

Cheers

This Wednesday saw another 270 (approx') signatures collected with local head shops geared up to collect more while we are away from the area.

Thank you to Nathan, Ken and Jonathan for coming out to help. Some miscommunication and hectic scheduling served to have one or two people not included unfortunately. I had hoped they would be able to make it out but life gets in the way more often then any of us can count I’m sure. Soliciting signatures on the street is fairly tough and Regina was a different and some what unfamiliar place for all of us. We did very well for the day.

This also brings us to a total of about 590 signatures collected for this week and more to come. We weren't just taking signatures though...possibly to our detriment I was speaking at great length to people here and there about cannabis and the benefits of legalization. I feel that I did get through to a few people though and so I think it was worth the extra time spent.

The humorous happening that day for me personally was SGI. Because the government insurance agency just happens to have their office building in front of the spot I picked for petitioning, apparently I scared the bejeebus out of them. It seems an executive of some sort had seen me petitioning out front and sent a frightened and worried call to their security desk to come out and see what I was doing.

Though not in any way obviously productive for our cause, I thought making some VP at SGI shake in his/her shoes was a nice bonus for the day.

In addition, I got to see Tom Shapiro's garden and what a fantastic set up. With a variety of strains and a sanctuary devoted to the environment of which the plants are a part, seeing the garden was not only fascinating to me as someone who does not often get to see something of that nature, but also unique and relaxing. It was nice to be able to sit in a circle in a comfortable setting chatting about the past, the present and our very bright future.

Cheers

Indeed yes Mr. Publisher! April 20th is our registration submission deadline but if we can get it in earlier, that would be fuzzy n such.
