Well we discussed for 3 weeks about which days are best for meetings, and also decided to have meetings every two weeks, like we have been doing for several months. I believe it is posted at our website somewhere, and I get an email every week from Ethan, are you sure that you are checking the same email that's on the list?

Communications officer? I remember asking you to think of a better way for the party to conduct internal communications because you seemed dissatisfied but I don't remember the party appointing a...communications officer.

It's unfortunate that all this has been posted here because it really does not serve to represent the party accurately. I would suggest you get a phone Sam. PM me if you will want a ride to this Sunday’s meeting...but I'm thinking we might want to postpone it if 60 minutes will air with Marc's story this weekend.

Cheers

Or we could just watch it all together in the lounge upstairs which is usually empty.

Good idea. It's on at 6:00 here so we can watch it then in the lounge. We'll get together at 5:45 at upper place riel. I'll send out the email today...our "executive" meeting this weekend will consist of watching the 60 minutes broadcast. Heh heh. We don't have much to discuss this time round anyway. It's been so blasted cold and inhospitable out that we just haven't been able to get anything done. By the way, I did get some extra LEAP pamphlets, anti-extradition cards (Thank you Chris Goodwin) and petition sheets to Regina through the Hygeia Society. I'll talk more about them on Sunday but after meeting with one of their directors and chatting for a good...god...I dunno, I was in her hotel room until about 2:00AM just talking up a storm! Anyhow, good people to be in touch with. Like I say, I'll talk more about it on Sunday.

Cheers

Oh, almost forgot. Tom Shapiro got his stuff back from the cops of course...don't know what condition it's in but certainly a victory for tom. Here's the only pic they could get in the cop shop.

As many of you know, Tom's stuff was cured even better than the stuff that comes off the street lately. Just think that's funny.

Anyhow, five SKMP volunteers will be travelling to Regina on the 29th (Thursday) of this month in order to canvass the city for registration petition signatures.

Some others from Regina may be able to help us as well so we will be out in full force. Whether it is canvassing the university, setting up on the street, helping some one else handle an influx of interested people or going door to door, I would implore any of you in Regina to consider helping us with this exceptionally trying task.

Regina is one major urban centre we have not yet saturated by way of signature collection efforts. If you know of an event coming up soon in Regina, you may be able to collect a bunch of signatures simply with a small sign reading "Help the Sask' Marijuana Party register" and a clip board.

Each sheet has room for 30 signatures. Think of one interesting fact. If you collect just one sheet full of signatures with addresses and names properly filled out (No initials, no PO Boxes, valid street address and signature in correct fields) you yourself will be responsible for 1% of the minimum number of signatures required for the SKMP.

Can you help us? If so, feel free to private message me, send me an email (ethane@saskmp.ca) or give me a call at any time at (306) 260-2952. leave me a message if I can't answer the phone. I'll try to return it same day or next day at least.

Cheers

As Ethan has mentioned, PLEASE come out and give us a hand with collecting signatures if you can. Every signature counts and we are more than happy to send you copies of the petition sheets if you PROMISE to get them back to us by April 20th. Wether they have 1 signature or 10 or 30, or several pages, we need these signatures. Once we have these signatures we can be a party, we can start fundraising and doing things in Saskatchewan. Us Saskatoon folk can't cover this whole province, we need some support in Regina and Prince Albert and anywhere else somebody can get to.

Please contact us via PM or email if you think you can help. We are so close to having enough signatures we can taste it, and we are always looking for more support!!

Stand up for freedom!

I will be making one more street side appearance in downtown Saskatoon tomorrow (Saturday, the 25th of March) with a sign and small table. The location will be in front of the royal bank on first avenue just across the street from the main entrance to the Mid Town Mall.

Our week long petition drive kicks off tomorrow and we plan to collect at least 750 signatures in this coming week and many many more if possible. We will be going to Regina, canvassing Saskatoon and even other communities such as Prince Albert, Humboldt and Warman or Martensville.

We can do this all on our own of course, we require help and it's not a hard thing to do.

All you need to do is contact me at ethane@saskmp.ca or directly by telephone at (306) 260-2952 and ask how you can help.

Cheers

I was going to make a few simple stickers reading "ABSTAINER" to stick on my suit but I was thinking...perhaps people will think I'm promoting and end to sex. Aside from that being the last thing I would promote, it's not really related to the cause eh? So...A short and simple phrase is what I am seeking. Any ideas?

Something along the lines of "LEGALIZE. ASK THIS ABSTAINER WHY"

Or if you think that's good…

Cheers
