The Sask MJ Party are loose cannons, they picketed a high school in Sask and got into a screaming match with a crazy nurse, LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSNucl6mJVw

What makes you say they are loose cannons? I think they accomplished quite a bit. Got the party noticed, and were on the right side of the arguement.

How is that being a loose cannon?

Loose cannons? More like passionate for the right reasons!

I see it as more like they are very passionate about freedom of speech and freedon from fear. At least that is my take on the SKMP continuing actions.

I wish there were many more Canadians that were even a fraction as passionate about freedom of speech and freedom from fear and stand up, speak up like the SKMP does!

The SKMP folks I met in July of this year were all very passionate. They are standing up in public and fighting the right fight working towards making Canada a better place to live for us all.

I stand up and applaud their work! I can only now hope others will follow their example and get off the couch stand up, speak up and help groups of activists like the SKMP to fight the right fight.

Keith

I recall seeing that vid~ and actually I think it was the nurse that was acting like a crazed individual~ I think the SKMP handled this with class and professionalism~ I also think that PASSION shouldn't be mistaken for INSANITY~

Lets all get out and link the crime in our communities to the war on drugs, townhall meetings will be springing up all over the place in the next few days/weeks here in Sask. Get out and help the parties organize, a good place to talk with those in charge.

What's wrong with being a loose cannon? I said the Sask MJ P are loose cannons, I didn't say there's anything in particular bad about being a loose cannon, sometimes a good loose cannon is what you need to get the attention that you would not otherwise receive with a more quiet, staid, conservative approach. Loose cannons grab attention, because they are loud and proud and fun. The nurse, on the other hand, was a bad loose cannon, she was all nastiness.

Duffy: "How is that being a loose cannon?" How is picketing a high school not being a loose cannon? Quite entertaining though, it's an aggressive tactic, not inherently bad, just intense. It drew the nurse out of her bunker and they had a nice screaming match for the cameras.

Maybe being infront of a school they might have had a better reception if they would have been attacking programs like DARE. (which is school-marijuana related) But they did get their message out, Saskatchewan is one of Canada's least cannabis friendly provinces.

but man, the hatred and blatant ignorance coming from the comments left made me laugh my ass off. Listen to this guy haha.

WOW. and also you want the stats, DAWN collects info from death on drug abuse. there were 128 death of marijuana. and marijuana was involved in 215,665 hospital visits. not 0!and marijuana smoke contains 50 percent to 70 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke. hey ass hole, you want the facts go to whitehousedrugpolicy

Saskatchewan is a really funny place when it comes to weed. You can talk to almost anyone about it, and they either smoke it, or don't really care about it. With 2 exceptions. Politicians, and the police. Even the provincial NDP are against it for some reason, yet most of their union backers smoke it. It's baffling. Honestly I think Brad Wall, the new Premier and Sask Party (conservative) leader, had less of a problem with it than Lorne Calvert (NDP leader).

Saskatchewan is notorious for growing the most corrupt police in the country. Most police here are power hungry and care nothing about 'To Serve and Protect'. This one cop pulled over my brother while he was delivering pizza, and unfortunately for him he forgot his driver's license. It was -40 outside, dead of winter, and he was on the opposite end of the city from both his work and his house. The bitch actually made him shut off his car and walk back to work, even though she could've easily verified that his car was indeed registered to him and that he had a valid license (we have governement insurance too).

As well, the school administration is the same. Power hungry teachers and administrators who are basically there to collect a check. I actually got kicked out of class once for proving that one of my teachers was wrong, she claimed I was disrupting the class. Had she just listened to me the first time she would've realized her mistake. But no, she was the all-knowing teacher with authority, and how dare I try to correct her.

N.A.U. / S.P.P.

Prisons for profit.

Mandatory drug sentencing.

Post war economy trying to survive.

Assimilation = Expansion

The NDP is simply trying out the 'new shoes' just before the S.P.P. act is validated and enforced WITHOUT your approval, participation, or knowledge.

Cuz for as often as I post about it here, no one seems to care. Y'all got plenty to say about the U.S. and what we do; but I dont see fuck-all ONE of of my Canadian friends doing anything about it(SPP). Its almost like it doesnt exist, and if it happens - we're ALL fucked, once and forever.

OH!!! OHHH!!!! I see one!!
