"Z-Strain"
Very rizomorphic strain! Rizomorphic mycelium seems to isolate itself. Very aggressive colonizer. One of the fastest strains from inoculation to harvests i've seen. Prolific fruiter with little to no recovery time between flushes!
Psilocybe cubensis "Z-Strain" on Uncle Ben's 5 Minute Rice cased with pictures
It usually takes 5 days to a week to see your spores start to germinate. Once they germinate it takes about 2 weeks for them to completely colonize the jar of brf/verm.
After the cakes are completely white, you then take them out of the jar and put them in your incubation chamber or casing.
Once you put the cakes in the chamber, it will take about a week before you start to see pins. After the pins start, it's usually only a few days before they mature in mushrooms. So about 1 month from start to finish.

Hay Brow I just started sum Z/Strain mushrooms my self last Saturday I'm using the jar method and I built a terrarium out of a foam cooler/plexy glass. So far the spores seem to be taking over the jar. I also red the 5 Minot rice trip report I hope the guy just had a real big tolerance for mushrooms. It would be a shame to go through the whole grow process and get nothing out of it. I would say the best trip I ever had was on thees Mushrooms I had in Japan their legal their I ate 1/2 once it kicked in in about 20 minutest I remember I was watching Army Of Darkness then the TV started to melt and I looked out side and all I seen was a giant mid evil courtyard it was so cool. Then this other time I ate 1/4 and went to a G.W.A.R concert but that's another story.

Hay Brow, Glad to hear your 1st flush turned out great I guess you were rite about the 5 minuet rice guy and the rice not having enough nutes. Hay, I got a couple of questions first could you explain the Inoculated grain mix method , like do you still half to make jars with brown rice flower and vermiculite and colonize the jars or do you do something completely deferent ? I really don't understand this method. Also how long did the whole experiment take from start to first flush? Last question can we get sum pictures? And Good Job Fellow Grower SHROOMER
