Please keep fighting - Marc's work is too valuable and important to let the crypto-fascists intimidate and suppress. I'll send money when I can - in the meantime I'm sending emails and letters to all and sundry.

I'm not a regular smoker, but have visited with Marc in the store a couple of times, and came away impressed, amused, and convinced (and stoned....). I think you guys probably were wary of visiting narcs (justifiably!), and being a tall and short-haired, and a volunteer fireman, I felt I probably raised a few suspicions with my seed purchase. But I really only wanted to burna few down. I'll stop by and say hello when I can. I have to admire Marc's guts in keeping going when he knew the DEA was on his case. I think the Canadian Govt will be really surprised by the outrage his arrest is generating. What true Canadian will allow US infringement of our sovereignty, especially on this evil errand to shut Marc's good works down?

I bought things from the store, things I dident need , unlike other stores Marks store funds the movement ,or have you not been paying attention. As far as I know Mark has commited a large portion of his life in this fight with great parrel. I dont care if they charge $20.00 for a pack of papers, it goes to a good cause.

There are a few ways you can help us.

Stop by the BCMP and drop your spare change in one of the donation boxes/jugs, and buy a book or a shirt while you're there.

Send support to Cannabis Culture magazine. That money will go to the legal costs, as will all donations at this time.

Well I'm glad you made the right decision and sent the money. IMO but I'm so tired of hearing about the crap slung around in these forums about Marc and CC finances... it's been explained ten-fold! So what if Marc indulges a bit? He deserves it! Especially after all he's done for us over the years, it's immeasurable by any standard.

I'm disturbed that very few mods or respected "old hands" have chimed in on any of this???

good idea, thats the attitude they need right now.
it certainly is no attempt to line their own pockets.
even if it doesnt all go to the legal defence im sure it will help them achieve some much needed things and keep them fed.
i know ive spent a lot of time awake here reading about whats just happenede and whats yet to happen and making the media and friends aware of it all.. for them to be in the middle of it all and possibly still be at threat themselves there must be a lot of stress involved without having to worry about money for the current needs of the business, the rally and the operation of this site and a legal defence.
they will have to work and think and adress things around the clock to get the best possible outcome from this tragedy and for this movement.
i think that a lot of people here have already bailed out, worried for their own freedom. best if those that are staying and standing up can help in some way.everybody try to stick to the problem and motion at hand.
