Now that the website is pretty much done, I am working to promote eNDProhibition among both the NDP and the pot activist community.

There will be a quarter page ad for eNDProhibition in the coming issue of Cannabis Culture. We'll have banner ads running here and on Pot-TV soon as well.

We'll probably also buy banner ads on www.rabble.ca

I am purchasing a quarter page ad in the Feb/March issue of "Our Times" which is a Canadian labour magazine. I am also trying to buy a quarter page ad in the spring issue of The Democrat, which is the quarterly newspaper of the BC NDP.

I am investigating potentially advertising in the newsletters of other provincial NDP parties, where possible.

If anyone has other suggestions as to good politically active, left-wing, NDP-friendly places where an ad for eNDProhibition might be worthwhile, please post them here.

When is the next opportunity to submit your resolution for consideration by NDP?

Magnificent work, Dana.

Just to be clear, my resolution was for the BC NDP. The federal NDP already support legalization. The BC NDP have no formal marijuana policy, but in the past when they were in power in BC they have supported the same prohibitionist laws and ideals as everyone else.

Since the resolution did not get debated at the recent BC NDP convention, I believe that now it is supposed to go before the BC NDP Provincial Council, along with all of the many other undebated resolutions.

However, I have heard some people say that this is where resolutions go to die. Certainly there are a great many of them which were not debated, but none had the support that mine did.

However, I don't exactly know the procedure for resolutions going to Provincial Council. Certainly nothing will be happening before the federal election is over.

I will be learning how this works and pursuing this resolution with the Council, however, it is better if it could be passed on the floor of the next BC NDP convention in two years.

I will also be working to bring this resolution, and other similar ones, to conventions in other provinces. However, this will require me having people within the party in those provinces working from inside to help me.

I disagree. If it's a Conservative minority, the NDP could do a lot. The NDP could convince the Conservatives to layoff on the drug issue and the gay marriage issue -- or reverse course -- in exchange for supporting the Conservative budget and keeping the Conservatives in power.

We are in for a series of minority governments as long as Quebec remains totally BQ. It will be quite difficult for anyone to get a majority government in Canada without any backing in Quebec.

I would like to see the Conservatives and the NDP work together more often.

Both parties agree on the need for electoral reform. Both want to reform/fix/abolish the senate. Both parties support changing the system so that there is more transparency in how government works, and they both support the Auditor General.

It's too bad there is no libertarian wing left in the federal Conservatives.
