Are there as many people out of view of the webcam as can be seen with the Parliament Hill webcam?:

I think it gives a pretty good angle... It does look like there are some people down south of the flame, it's a little hard to see.. What are those big white things in the bottom middle?

I found this photo again from Fill the Hill 2004 last year:

Need I say more?

'05 is what you get when you alienate people in the community, pudknockers included.

Here's '04 Fill the Hill

Thanks! That is the best 2004 hill-cam crowd shot I have seen for Fill the Hill 2004. The other 2004 hill-cam shots I found must have been earlier shots that did not have the larger crowd size as in the photo you just posted. I will upload it now to the 2004 Fill the Hill image gallery:

I added this to the 2004 gallery:

http://www.fillthehillrally.ca ~ New 2005 website. June 11, 2005 "Fill the Hill / THC Truth Hope and Compassion" event did happen, but it was sabotaged by Jody Pressman who put big banners on the 2004 website saying that 2005 Fill the Hill was cancelled. Also, someone (or some people) went around Ottawa constantly tearing down 2005 posters, and even leaving a bag of crumpled 2005 posters at one of the 2005 headquarters.

Jody controls the website. I was just kind enough to pay for it. I have been reimbursed and make no claim to it, nor do I want anything to do with it.
The ongoing vendetta against our posters continues. As I repostered yesterday, I noticed that these were being sytematically removed with a razor knife. This morning we arrived at the store to find a small garbege bag stuffed full of yesterday's posters, all crumpled up, sitting on the front step. That's a pretty specific action. I wish I could catch them in action.

I have organized rallies, and done plenty of postering, and have had to reposter several times. But I can't remember reading of posters actually being torn down and then RETURNED! That is one sick person(s?)

The same type of sick person(s) are probably responsible for the arsons of the cannabis organizations and stores in Vancouver last year. It seems like cannabis prohibition and politics makes some people crazy.

We started a bit late, there was no shade, it was hotter than the room
just off the side of the lobby of hell.

Dom arrived at 1:20, so we jumped right into it.

People talked, BC buddy made an appearance and had his photo taken with
cops.

Then Malmo took the stage. And talked, as he is prone to on such
occasions....

Then Malmo took out what looked like about an ounce of green powder in a
glass container. He then proceeded to hand out some of this green
powder, and fill every pipe that was presented him....

I had told him to behave, but I expected something like that....

The police came up to Tim Meehan and wagged fingers. Allison called Alan
Young, and for a little while it looked like they were going to arrest
Emery and or Malmo...... they say the permit only goes to 4:00, not
4:20.....

I picked up here:

There seemed to be a miscommunication over when the event was going to
end. The permit I booked was until 5pm -- they thought it was until 4.
They made us shut the sound and PA down at 4pm. Earlier, they were
moving in on Marco until Alison was speaking and mentioned that he might
be arrested. They backed off.

They were deliberately trying to provoke a confrontation with me, but
while the protest ended at 4pm, I simply shut the sound off when ordered
to. They were upset after DML's activities but I simply told them "It's
David Malmo-Levine -- come on! You know who he is! You think I can
control him, or would want to?!?"

The circle in front of the Parliament Hill steps then became a sit-in
after the sound was ordered off -- and you don't need a permit for that!
We were there until after 4:20. A good day, very hot, but the speeches
were great! About 800 at it's peak I would say. And no arrests, as far
as I know...but it seems some of them were itching for heads to crack.
