Photos, posters, flyers, and banners for Fill the Hill 2004! Many videos for rally speakers. Video promos and report, too. Right-click any of the video projector images below, and then click "save target as" to download the video file to your computer. Ottawa is Canada's capital city. The rally was held on the hill in front of Parliament. Many Canadian cannabis groups participated, organized, funded, and advertised for this large event. I am taken aback by the tone of your email. First your claims have no basis in fact, and second, I find them personally offensive -- almost as offensive as urging people in a public forum to call and harass me and my family. You have a lot of nerve.

Instead you and others have engaged in a twisted concerted effort to take advantage of the legacy, good name, and reputation I have established for this event through my efforts. You have opted to steal the name, poach on my website and use the event name as if it were yours, and plagiarize edited copy material that were my words to incorporate in your so-called 'Fill the Hill rally' site. Even the graphics contained on the website you are now forwarding to were part of the work I previously paid, for the original protest rally last year. You of all people should know better than to stoop to this level.

I have sufficient documentation and evidence to protect my intellectual property rights going back almost 18 months or more. I am quite prepared to do so if that becomes necessary. I gave almost a year of my life to deliver Canada's first major marijuana rally on Parliament Hill. All you are doing now is besmirching the success and reputation of that named event as if it were yours or you owned it. You do not. If you or anyone else wanted the name or the sites so badly I would have gladly sold them. You never even had the decency to ask.

If I continue to receive calls of harassment because of your post I will be filing a complaint with the authorities. I strongly suggest you publicly retract your incitement on the boards, and cease and desist from forwarding your www.thcrally.ca domain to a domain which infringes on my domain ownership rights (www.fillthehillrally.ca).

I will not be intimidated by your baseless and callow threats. If anyone is aggrieved in this matter it is me, Sir, and not you nor Mr. Burke.

Should you continue your present course of infringing upon my intellectual property rights or threatening me and members of my family with harassment you and anyone else engaged in this activity may find themselves the subject of costly legal action. You should govern yourselves accordingly.

Oh yeah, just for the record, Jody is full of shit legally and morally. The THC Rally will continue to work with the amazing organic support we have amassed and will still continue to promote this event with both names....as prior art exist predating Jody's event.

No one is trying to take away from Jody Pressman's efforts. But it is obvious he is trying to take away from everyone else's efforts. He did not reply to my email asking about buying the domain name. And I doubt he actually offered to sell it to anybody else at a reasonable price. Has anybody been offered a sale price?

His claims of ownership are baseless as discussed many times previously in this thread by lawyers and many others.

I personally spent many hours organizing for Fill the Hill 2004 and FTH/THC 2005. So did countless others.

So onwards with FTH/THC 2005!

I wouldn't bother trying to call Jody. First he says that people should try to contact him by email, and then he says that people should not try to contact him by phone. Fine. Sounds like a pretense to me. Let's move on. WE DO NOT NEED HIS PERMISSION TO DO ANYTHING.

With the June 11, 2005 date and the correct domain names of fillthehillrally.ca and thcrally.ca ~ Same banner length please. No longer. I want to have the names "Fill the Hill" and "THC Truth Hope and Compassion" on every page on my website.







I'd like to have to both a low-kilobyte static banner, and a higher-kilobyte animated banner.

That way people can put the low-kilobyte static banner on their webpages that are too full to take too many more kilobytes added to their load times.

Maybe 2 different banners. One with one rally name, and one with the other rally name. Maybe use the initials FTH and THC also in combination with other full rally name.

It is OK if the banner is a little taller, but not longer.

The more banners the better. I may start an image gallery for FTH/THC 2005 to hold all the banners, flyers, posters, etc.. Or just post them here for now. Since there is little time left.

Someone please send me a press release too with both names that I can forward widely to email lists, etc..
