Event (Public) Demand Democracy - Stop Harper (by Joybuzzard)
On September 17, 2012, Parliament resumes in Ottawa, complete with an illegitimate Prime Minister with dictatorial powers. Will it be business as usual, even though there is ample, publicly acknowledged evidence of electoral fraud and the possibility that even greater evidence is being withheld by Election Canada officials? We hope not.
Harper can be stopped before this goes any further, but it will require as many people as possible in Ottawa beginning on September 17 and staying as long as possible or until we have democracy.
There is no single, central body of organizers for this protest, but there is a diverse range of groups and people who oppose Harper. Organize in your local community to fundraise for transportation. Contact groups in your area who have their own reasons for opposing Harper and get them involved.
