Do you have B.C. cherries & want to grow big trees?

It's a bit of a lottery though, right?  You won't get exactly the same variety since these aren't clones.

 

But anyone with the space and the time, don't let me discourage you, you might stumble upon the next great cherry variety. :)

Don't rain on my parade eh. ;)

 

I saved some cherry and plum pits from the trees that were growing in the garden at my mom's place in Peachland when I was out there a couple years ago moving her out.

 

Think I'll try sprouting a couple to pretty up my grow room.

 

Soon as someone posts a video how to do the plums I'll have a go at those.

Near as I can tell all you need to sprout plum pits is toss them on the lawn...  our damsel plum tree is quite prolific and I don't think *all* of those shoots are from the roots, heh...
