  1. Indo Hash/confused

Hi Lab, great to hear from you and your experience is always good reading πŸ‘ Cheers mate. Going to try n upload a pic - I guess I got slightly stoned but you might be right about it being bogus.. Maybe it's just poor quality.. There is signs it's no good but sure looks ok.. So tried again, a very soft mellow kind of high. Not a "high" as such.. Smells looks and feels like good hash comparing to a heap of pics I've looked at.. My point again about its oils.. A large enough ball will turn to some kind of oil then once this runs it only then cherries up.. I'll try and capture a pic of the gooey oil (?) I think I'm seeing also.. And I'm sure there'll be a more efficient or economical way of ingesting.. A joint kind of does the trick when I have nothing else about, but it's running inside obviously wetting the tobacco and papers.. I wanna get these pics up.. If pics don't upload now I'll upload seperately when I have better coverage/reception.. Cheers everyone βœŒπŸ½οΈπŸ™πŸΌ
  2. Hello everyone, been a long time since or signed in to post.. Hope you good peoples are well and managing ok.. nice flowers will help do that.. πŸ‘πŸ˜ Ok so here I am, my friend joe has picked up some hashish. And he is confused. Read some amazing and very thorough content on the matter but there is so many variables and opinions so some kind of clarification would be great! It it is in a 3gram block & very dark green. First attempts at mixing it with tobacco didn't really work great but I managed. Also tried as a tester 'the glass over the top of a cherried ball' etc. Not sure if I used to little but I was wondering and trying to work out what kind of stoned I was feeling. That I had to do that tells me it may not be great quality. But I'll reserve judgement for a bit longer. Some more info. Softens very quickly in the middle of my palm and became a little too soft - sticking to thumbs and fingers. Tasted very different to what I imagined. Like a sweet tobacco? Total noob when it comes to hashish or bubble hash. It didn't quite burn well in a joint - runs/ but not sure if I'm meant to shave or if it was too wet? I rolled out a long thin piece the second time as the first I just broke off little bits and laid them in the joint carefully. When finally burning well I would end up inhaling not from my card board filter but from the burning end occasionally as I was worried I was losing the good elements.. That was harsh but hey I have to try right.. I then made a small ball and flicked the flame, it did eventually cherry but initially what I saw was a little bubble and oil?! I didn't softly apply heat like a hot rod or vapours I just wanted to see it cherry.. I will try that next time. So I'm seriously confused on what I may have and the best way to ingest this matter. Dont judge me here but I was imagining a superior kief like taste and smoke although I get its a bit of a reach.. Is is it too wet? It's pretty hard and pressed well but I used my nail to cut bits off. Softens easily.. Have no parephanalia. So again I'm thinking hot knives or how to refine my technique so I don't waste too much in a joint.. As it's quite malleable should I shave bits off and let it dry? Why did I see wet oil when flame applied long enough? Have no dank to mix it with so it is what it is... Nor a scope to check quality or crystals.. All comments and help much appreciated! πŸ‘πŸ™πŸΌβœŒπŸ½οΈ
  3. Potency increasing manipulations....

Fascinating topic and great thread.. I will keep an eye on this one... The leave your plant/s in dark periods prior to harvest has become popular to a degree.. Wether on clips on the tube or other places i have come across it.. Just curious that if you're correct in this assessment that extended darkness prior to harvest is really not necessary and if anything counter productive - why were ppl/urban growers etc; doing it in the first place? How and why did it become a generic thing to do for many.. ?
  4. Cannabis Culture Chatroom??

I think a chat room/s with topics and or sub topics where ppl can discuss things 'in the moment' would be cool.. A little different to the shoutbox. Although i realise that is in direct conflict by creating logs and threads/posts that ppl can revisit and learn and comment years after... I have know idea of the inner mechanisms of how a site like this would operate - but i would def check out those chat rooms if they were to ever be created.

  6. February seed contest

Hi all.. I'm sorry OG and DB and to those that organised this contest. OG, you allowed a Mulligan (i learned a new word!) - I just couldn't get around to uploading…. Had appointments of all kinds.. I am also going through a chronic malware issue with my computer and this site and although i can work around mac operating systems a little - I can't click on anything without constant redirecting and bullshit on firefox.. So purely viewing is a mission at the moment let alone trying to resize or upload - (same thing occurs) basically i have been busy and my computer is a nightmare. I am sure there are some programs and or some things i could do. I can't use safari to watch utube or view certain media types -it just won't accept the 3rd party plugins anymore without upgrading. The thing is. i can't upgrade any further as this comp has reached its end unless i get my hustle on renew an old Macbook?. I'm not sure i should spend the coin.. I have taken many pics. though lately my hands are shaky. There are some good macro shots but she looks the same as she flowered last time only bigger, less uniform in canopy and more sites of all sizes and bits and pieces. I will post some when i can for sure. Anyway - funk! so.. I'm sorry OG and DB for not replying with another entry. If there is another soon i will try when things are a little easier.. Thanks everyone - light'n'love to all'
  7. Day 51 flower

Yeah OG... C'mon man ..... we are all wondering how they tasted? Smoke report? Or is it already written somewhere i don't know of.. I am only now learning more about the taste and refining things a little.. So I'm really curious like others... Cheers.
  8. Thnx OG - i was a lil rushed off the tee.. hehe

  9. Grow Log: AK47

Hi Ganjajuana! Nice plants - i like the one that just went in... Is it preferable for you to flower them sooner? or now i mean? My pen is also off - the glass cover hasn't broken although it just reads off even if i calibrate it to both 7.01 or 4. Or whatever the directions are.. Was going to try completely new batteries but idk, they r cheap things (well mine was) and so many are so similar to those that are popular market choices. As i don't have much growing i am content to use my drop and colour testing kit, though if i were doing a grow with 5 plants and looking forward to some sweet home grown Ak47 as you said - then i would buy a new pen for well being. Esp if u r to be testing run off and so on..
  10. Sub Forum for Coco Questions?

Your are right DB and you are smart for using a little OG.. On sunday i spent a degree of time researching coco and watching a heap of clips etc.. I also came across the same info. Possible Cal-Mg deficiencies; so to combat this..... I do have some soluble trace elements that is quite safe to use but with a nice % of Cal and Mg. As my lady fattens a little i have noticed some leaves are curling upwards at the end. Not many sites - but there is clawing upwards in a few localized spots. I did hear this can be from Cal issues. But pls correct me if i am wrong ppl. So it isn't enough for me to worry about although I am keeping a close eye on things. See how the next few feeds go - and how the issue pans out if at all..
  11. ahh.. i can't do a major backpeddle and replace my entry for feb seed contest. Have much clearer pics now. cool if can't..

  12. Blue berry chronic busted

Really feel for you and for your father and family BBC.. My heart sunk reading that.. Could they not at the very least get a nurse or carer to look after your father. Bloody Police have such a lack of duty of care. No idea the strain and pain they put ppl through.. Just sending thoughts and i truly hope your father receives his medication ASAP. Wouldn't wish that upon anyone. Light'n'love to BBC and family.
  13. Sub Forum for Coco Questions?

Well, to be honest Farang if you are amending your media in order to find the safest pH range and working with Peat and Coco (& other amendments) then i can easily say you are a step or two in front of me in that regard. Seems like you're on the right track - to this stage i have been very lucky. I didn't have to do too much washing or flushing or even tweaking to get my media mix right for transplanting. Although my main root ball was in Terra, and it was well established and in solid reveg before i transplanted again. That could of helped. Not to forget this is a forgiving strain and she had always handled what i have fed or done with her. Not sure how much of an influence this makes. If your peppers are doing ok for now and you are slowly narrowing down a safe mix after cooking then you are not far off. We don't or i didn't nor would, work with the Coco Bricks that expand with water. I just couldn't do it. The amount of perlite added to the original bag was 30%, i could of put some things at the bottom of my 10 Gal pot for even better drainage. As i don't get a hell of alot and they do say that's important with coco - as u mentioned, salts build up in the media and flushing or run off is suggested, especially with coco. Though it's all in hindsight. I have found it is a forgiving media with growing outside - difficult to over water. If patient enough then a wet dry cycle isn't as completely necessary as if growing in soil or other hydro methods. Although there is constant maintenance as the coco retains more oxygen so it dries very well. Esp if the sun shines through those clouds.. As for ratios and really getting that medium right to where you are happy with it, then i would absolutley bounce all that off other experienced members. I just know that i will def be trying coco again. I've had some good fortune so far.. Plus i do have the time to look after her. Which i think is important. Hope my input has some value.. Just sharing my experiences really.. So i do not have much other than this lady who is currently doing really well.. Keep on truckin
  14. February seed contest

Hi guys. Gee, the very day I post a pic and that night I bought my sisters old phone which has a camera decent enough for me to post some great pics in the future. 8. MP should get me some nice pics. Thanks Weedmen for your thoughts. Although i have some beauties now which i might post in Pot Pic Post. - Or my grow thread or both.. - How far in to flower is that pic of yours BBC? Also - DB - I have a ton of pics of both this strain flowering under a 400hps and now outside in Coco/Perlite etc. So there can be some great comparisons. Will also be good to file under a strain review if you would like. As they are bigger file sizes, i resize pics before posting but i don't think i do it the best way.. Or safest.. I can send a bunch to your email add set up for the Strain thread you are creating if you like.. This way the file sizes can remain the same and you could choose what and or which to post. I have dated them also, which will help create a good overall look of this plant if grown in similar conditions and or media. They are clearer and better than any past pics. Let me know if you would like me to do so. Thanks
  15. February seed contest

Well, if the pics are ultimately decided by clarity and artistry then i may not quite qualify.. With no SLR or even a decent camera on my phone - I don't think i can compete. Although i will post a pic to be involved! There are some amazing pics in these contests - so unique and full of color.. Perhaps because i have had her for some time she is more sentimental - idk, perhaps it's just that she has flowered out really well and is healthy thus far, so i naturally might think she is beautiful.. hehe.. Oh well. Certainly the differences so far is that she seems to have more freedom inside the pot - hence when flowering out i feel she has no restrictions. Which perhaps i found in the peat. Anyway.. I think she is really pwetty A little dark and not so unique (but i can enlarge this where others become blurry - so, like i said, i will still post an entry.. The rate of which she is growing i know i could take some fantastic pics in a wk or so.. This will do..
